The value for money in the signature pedicure was underwhelming. For the price I paid and for an hour long treatment I was hoping for and expecting more pampering than I received. I got a foot soak and leg exfoliation that lasted five minutes if that with the pedicure. Unfortunately I felt like I could have done the treatment at home and saved myself the money.

If there is a wait time, you should let clients know and not let them sit there waiting for half an hour after their appointment time before talking to them. Never had such bad service.

Service was friendly. I was offered aromatherapy oils as part of my massage, but was not informed that this comes at an extra cost. I only found out when paying. I felt this was deceptive, especially as the beautician was aware this was my first massage.

My massage was lovely and super professional. Promesse was amazing and paid attention to detail very well, best massage that I’ve ever had. She also recommended this very nice cream and I’ve used it at home and love it. One criticism that I have is that I found it hard to relax at times because of other people talking very loudly and laughing in other rooms. I think staff should keep the noise to a minimum when there’s a massage going on. Other than that it was super lovely and big shout out to promesse.

My treatment, massage and pedicure were great, however I did not feel comfortable speaking up at the time when the beautician significantly hurt me with the trimming of my cuticle - see photo. I think I may well have been asleep, and awoke startled, jumping reflexly in pain. The beatician at no point acknowledged that she had hurt me, or apologised and it was only after I had left the salon and was in sufficient light that I could see the extent of the bleeding. Today it continues to be quite red and painful, and as a doctor, I am trying to ensure there is not an infection brewing. I trust that the equipment is suitably sterilised to ensure that in the event of an accidentl injury like this, the risks are minimised. I appreciate that accidents can happen, however, would have felt better about it if the beautician involved had at least acknowledged my pain at the time and apologised and perhaps provided some guidance regards the potential for infection (obviously as a doctor, I don't need this advice, however another customer may well need to be informed of the signs of a localised infection). This experience will not prevent me from returning to Pure Indulgence Indooroopilly as I am a longstanding customer, however, it will be some time before I attend for a pedicure again as there are many alternatives on offer for this within the centre.

Unfortunately this appointment fell below my exectations of your clinic. My clinician was late, which I was advised of, but I was given no timeframe. I advised staff I had appointments elsewhere and was seen to promptly but I couldn't help feel that my treatment was rushed. Yes, partly my own doing, but it is also possible to move promptly without giving a client the feeling like you are pushing them out the door. My skin is quite sensitive. This is the reason I book my appointments multiple days ahead of events. It is also (to the frustration of your staff) the reason I don't have my waxing done monthly. Most times when I visit your clinic my eyebrows are waxed once, a max of twice then tweezers are used to remove stray hairs. I lost count of the times wax was applied to my eyebrows today. This evening I have plucked stray hairs and am icing the welt above my right eye. I was given no soothing cream after my treatment, which I only realized after I had removed my makeup and saw the welt. One of the reasons I changed to your clinic was the additonal care and time that I felt you put into a treatment. Over the past 6 months I have to say that I feel your care has reduced and your price increased. I can't remember the last time some did a full measure and shape of my brows yet I have paid for a series of eyebrow 'sculpture'. Today's treatment was quite the disappointment. Here's hoping the welt is gone by Sat when I head to the races.
