I was a little disappointed with my experience. The treatment was fine but the beautician was late, whinged about her other staff members during the treatment and forgot to get my drink. I always come to Ella Bache and always leave feeling great but not this time. Will not be seeing the same person again.

Just felt a bit rushed through today. I have had many eyebrow wax/tidy treatments and have always been extremely pleased with the session, the spa in port and the lovely staff. However today the wax was uncomfortably hot and I was not asked if I was ok and the treatment was over before I had a chance to comment.

Zara was lovely, friendly, and clearly takes pride in her work. She spent a lot of time shaping my brows through waxing and plucking, and her attention to detail was evident. Unfortunately, I wasn’t thrilled with the final result. I specifically mentioned that I didn’t want my brows too dark, despite having medium to dark brown hair, but they ended up appearing almost black and several shades darker than my hair colour. I felt quite self-conscious afterwards and was embarrassed to be out in public immediately following the treatment. I also found there was very little skin staining compared to what I’m used to with brow tinting, with most of the colour only taking to the brow hairs. In hindsight, I probably should have raised my concerns at the appointment, but I didn’t want to upset or insult Zara as she had clearly put a lot of care and effort into the service. My feedback is purely about the colour outcome rather than the service itself. While Zara was professional and clearly a perfectionist, I feel there may not have been enough consideration given to how the lamination process can intensify the appearance of the tint. A lighter shade may have produced a more natural result and better reflected the colour preference I discussed beforehand. Overall, the service was pleasant and Zara was lovely, but the final colour result was not what I had requested or expected.

On the overall I was a little disappointed with my experience. The girl kind of complained how she doesn't really want to do beauty but she got out of school. I first it came across immature but then I didnt feel like being there having someone do my treatment who doesn't like what they do. Shame because all my other experiences have been amazing. Would ask for someone else next time.

Hayleigh was my therapist she was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and thorough. I will absolutely rebook to see her again. She made me feel comfortable and made the time go quickly with her friendly demeanour and conversation.
