Lovely experience. My therapist asked if I was comfortable with the room temperature several times and checked in with how I was feeling. There was no music for about the first 20 minutes. The calming music helps to set the tone.

The steps to the spa are dirty and derelict looking in comparison to the beautiful grounds, but the welcome area makes up for this with a calming energy and welcoming staff. The spa waiting room downstairs is beautifully set up, but the spa rooms themselves could do with some better mood lighting and warmer, comfier massage beds. We felt cold and thought the rooms could really do with an update. The changing rooms absolutely need an update, with broken tiles, mouldy grout, stains and every toilet roll holder/soap holder was broken. The steam room seat was coming away from the wall where the silicone had degraded, so when you sat on it, it moved and felt unsafe. The pool area was clean and aesthetically pleasing, but the pool and "hot tub" were FREEZING cold! We tried our best to relax in the pool but had to get out it was too cold to enjoy. Overall it was quite disappointing and feels like it really needs an update. Please look at similar reviews to this, people really want to use and enjoy this space!

The massage was excellent and the massage staff cannot be faulted. One of the best massages I’ve had. However I was disappointed that you had no records of what we booked. I didn’t mention when we walked in that I had booked 30 min massage and 30 min facial. We received a 60 min massage. When I mentioned it to the receptionist she indicated that it was up to me to clarify that on arrival. That’s actually ridiculous that you don’t keep a record of what clients book and rely on them to tell you when they arrive. I booked via email and you would have a record of what was requested. The booking was actually made 3 months in advance.

Thank you L.M.Spa for a wonderful birthday treat. A true Spa experience with friendly knowledgeable staff, thank you Simone for the most beautiful Rose Quartz Facial and massage. The advice to make sure I enjoyed a birthday cocktail and some nibbles by the pool was just the perfect finishing touch after my swim. Thank you for making my birthday truly special. I will definitely be doing this more often xx

It was fine, but didn’t meet my expectations. The therapist wasn’t as refined or as polished as I would’ve expected from a Lancemore Spa. She didn’t create a relaxing environment - forgot the oil so had to leave the room to collect, didn’t wipe down my arms or legs, when she did use the hot towel (for my back and feet) she had to flap it about to cool it off as it was obviously set too hot. She audibly yawned twice and sighed many times. My hair wasn’t covered so got more oil in it than I expected to. She also seemed to fumble the towels and pillow which added to the non-relaxed atmosphere. Quite disappointed given the cost and will think twice about going again.
