I booked a spa package for my sister and I which was great value for money, we were greeted by a lovely lady who was very friendly and helpful and the services provided were excellent and run professionally. We arrived early as we wanted to make full advantage of the pool and facilities before our treatment but sadly this experience was extremely disappointing. The entrance into the spa was dirty, full of leaves we thought we were working through the back door of the premise as it did not look inviting at all. The facilities are very old, the bathrooms had rusty hairdryer holders, chipped tile and looked old and run down. The sauna was very noisy and felt dirty. The decor was very dated. The pool was cold, we were advised that the spa's heat pump was no longer working, the cushions on the sun beds were stained, worn out and uncomfortable. I was married there 23 years ago and could not fault the property back then, I have also had previous spa treatments in the past few years and always enjoyed them however I am not sure I would recommend the spa or hotel at this stage. This property is in need of a good refurbishment.

Lovely spa experience however they need to improve maintenance of the facilities. The pool tiles are cracked or have come off the wall around the pillars. It has been that way over the past 2 years on the occasions I go, also pool are is in desperate need for a paint and clean. The spa bathroom towels are small, and don’t feel luxurious at all and scratchy. The bathrooms need more hooks in the shower cubicles to hang a towel and bag. The shower products are either always empty or extremely difficult to get out of the dispenser. Apart from the spa treatments which are lovely, I think the facilities are equivalent to a gym or public pool, not a luxury hotel.

I had a deep tissue massage today, it was exactly what my body needed, the masseur was amazing, l would highly recommend and l will definitely be rebooking.
