I have had my eyebrows done at Beauty By Rachel Lee 2-3 times over the last 2 years. I recently went back due to wanting a brow tidy up. A staff member (I will leave anonymous) did my eyebrow wax and before we began she held up a mirror to my eyebrows and went my problematic areas and what she planned to do before starting. I did enjoy this as I like to know I can trust the person doing my eyebrows and not feel scared that they are going to do something I don’t like. During the appointment I did feel a bit uncomfortable and judged about my eyebrows as my flaws in my eyebrows seemed to be repeated and when I would state that I’m trying to grow them out, I felt more judged. Overall the customer service was great, but my eyebrows at the end did not look neat or tidy, I still had a heap of baby hairs all around my brows which should of been waxed off. During the start of the appointment I did ask that they would be removed as this is basically the reason I wanted my eyebrows waxed to begin with I would go back again but not to the same staff member.

Brows look great however I was waiting for over 40 mins for my treatment and asked 3 times who I was while waiting. When I got in the treatment room, I was asked what I wanted even though I had mentioned it previously and I had an appointment for my brows. Not sure if today was an outlier but it seemed very delayed and rushed.

Lovely salon. Friendly staff greeted upon arrival. Staff member who attended to me was nice enough but needs some help with learning how to chat to the client while working so not just sitting there in complete silence. Paid deposit of $15.90 when booking was made online. After eyebrow wax and tint and lip wax was done, I paid another $37.10. Totalling $53! This is expensive compared to many other salons within Penrith area.

I booked for an appointment but have to wait for more than 15 mins.The experience was good but could be better if the waiting period will be lessened.

The therapist did not introduce herself, but I know her name is Jess because another customer called her this. She was rude, abrupt and intimidating in her manner, not an ounce of friendliness or a single smile. She never explained what she was doing despite the fact that I told her I had only had my brows done once before and I was nervous. Her only question about colouring was 'do you like your brows dark?'. In response I told her that I wanted them lighter than my brunette hair as I had just coloured it and it would fade shortly. She mixed the tint, put it on, told me she would leave it for a bit, then dimmed the lights and left the room. 12 minutes later (I timed it) she abruptly walked back in, turned the lights up as far as they go - which startled me as I was semi-relaxed in the dim room with music playing. She then wiped off the dye. And then put hot wax on my lip with no warning or explanation, ripping it off again with no warning. Then she went straight to waxing my brows with absolutely no consultation of what shaping I was after. She then told me that I would get a bruise on my eyelid that was my fault because I was wincing so hard. Pretty rude when I was literally afraid of this intimidating scowling woman and how she was treating me. When I finally got to see my brows in a mirror I saw that she got my colour completely wrong - it was so dark brown it was almost black. My hair is a medium brown. I asked her if they could be lightened at all. She rubbed some cream over them that seemed to do absolutely nothing, then told me it was done. The shape was fine thankfully, but she missed heaps of smaller surrounding hairs in her waxing effort. The only nice thing she did was give me a little sample pot of cream that she said would help my bruised eyelid - it did nothing. As a result of this awful encounter, I spent five days having to cover up a bruised eyelid with concealer. It also took a full week before my black brows started to fade, despite utilising all the internet tips on how to fade them faster. I looked like a moron. I am incredibly disappointed as all of the reviews and pictures from this salon seemed glowing, yet somehow this therapist gave me a terrible experience and I will not be back in case the others therapists are just as bad.
