I have never had a facial before, and my friend purchased me a gift voucher for my birthday. I booked my facial at Ella Bache at Upper Coomera. The experience was lovely until she tried to remove the clay mask at the end of the treatment. The mask had set like concrete and when she tried to peel it off, it was pulling at my skin and fine hairs, which was very painful. I suggested using warm water and hot towels, as the cold water she was using just made the product remain hard. It took approximately 30/40 mins to remove all the clay, and whilst the lady was very apologetic and explained she’d never used this mask before, it did not negate to anxiety and pain of the experience. I left with a very red sore face, which completely went away after a couple of hours, not the experience I was expecting for my first facial

Lovely ladies and relaxing atmosphere, unfortunately I was unhappy with my service as my eyebrow lamination only lasted barely lasted 2 days. Unimpressed as it was alot of money and now have nothing to show for it.

Each time I have been to Ella Bache I have had great service, this last time the girl that did my eyebrows basically held me down and ripped my head apart, she then tweezered them drawing blood on a number of occassions. I have never been treated so rough in my life and caused so much pain for such a small thing that was done. Previously I have looked forward to going in to get my eyebrows done at the store as the girls have always been caring and interested in what they were doing showing pride in their work. This time was different she was annoyed with me being there. The end of my eyebrow is now missing and there are chunks missing. So sad that this happend

My friend booked me in for a 30 minute pedicure. When I got to the room I was asked if I had gel or polish to which I replied I had gel. The lady, I felt, got annoyed and said they don’t have drills and they are supposed to soak the gel off and next time mention it when you book. To which I replied I did not book it. The gel had been on there for sometime so it was easily removed. I was then charged $80 for a pedicure that was a toenail cut, slight buffer on my feet and gel polish. I have since had to re file most nails as they are cut on the angle with a sharp point. I won’t go back to any Ella bache for this as it was an extremely overpriced cut and paint of my toe nails.

I booked a brow/lip wax, which I have had at this salon many times without a problem. Today was the worst experience, I was kept waiting 20mins past my appointment time, then the technician got wax in my hair which she tried to remove but then snipped my hair! She obviously thought I hadn't noticed but I did. No apology given. I also feel the treatment was rushed and she even went as afr as asking if I wanted soothing lotion after the treatment, I thought that was standard practice.
