Abysmal service! Will never come back

I had a wonderful visit to the spa today. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The facilities as described. My massage and facial were great and very relaxing.

- the booking system for a massage wasn’t working on an iPhone to show the specials so called - gentleman booked in but didn’t give an option of what type of massage and sent a receipt with 4 different timings but never replied to confirm 2 x 60 minutes - he also couldn’t help with where to park and said we had to work that out ourselves - had to call to confirm timings - text message confirmed 1 massage so had to call to confirm the second massage - I only persevere because my friend wanted to come - the website advertised $89 for 60 minute massage Tuesday to Friday. - wording direct from your website: Bathhouse facilities are complimentary when you have a Day Spa treatment of 60 minutes or more. -> there is no “unless using a special offer” - wording direct from your website: “all 60 minute massages just $89 Tuesday - Friday” with above listing: relaxation, aromatherapy, hot stone, deep tissue, manual lymphatic, Lomi Lomi, oil Thai traditional, head, foot, etc - I have the screen grab. - on the day it was just stated that we got relaxation & bath house was half price not free - this is false advertising - wording from your website: we supply a large towel and a face towel as well as a bathrobe and slippers for guests having spa treatments.” - we were told there would be a cost with this But this was waived as a gesture. I would not recommend your facilities because what is advertised is not what it actually is. I understand the lady on reception had worked there long enough to know the prices in her words but your advertising (website) has these statements in black and white. - I saw on your poster that you have the correct wording within the spa but this isn’t reflected on the website - also for a Monday one page has $69 for a massage and another page has $60 so a customer could ask you to honour the $60 and again with the wording that the bathhouse is free - I completely understand the half price with special offers and paying for towels BUT the advertising on the website sets up unreal expectations which then sets everyone up for failure - your team and your guests 1. Massage choices were removed from us as website said how there was the choice of so many yet relaxation was booked 2. Price of bathhouse 3. Additional pricing for bathrobes etc - by not honouring the advertising, you have attracted people that would’ve been very happy with your real terms but who felt lied to and attracted through false advertising - to sum up : the prices are good BUT the false advertising makes them appear bad value as through false advertising you caused an over promising and under delivering scenario setting everyone involved up for failure instead of success This is such a shame as we thought we may have found somewhere regular but this false advertising has tainted it for me. - appreciated that we could call Uber eats for food - appreciated moving the massage time due to food arriving late without prompting - this was a really lovely gesture - massage was very nice - facilities were nice - massage chairs didn’t appear to work
