When I started having IPL for my underarms it was completely painless but on the last two visits it has become very very uncomfortable with sharp stings every time I am 'zapped'. I'm not sure what has been changed on the equipment but it has made the experience rather unpleasant. I am only continuing with it so as not to waste the money I have already spent.

Hi There, Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience, I tried calling you yesterday to discuss the reasons for your discomfort during your last two IPL sessions however I didn't manage to catch you at the right time. The reason that you may have experienced some discomfort would be the installation of a new IPL lens. When they are initially installed, they tend to have a higher impact on the skin because of the clarity of the new lens. The settings are easily adjusted and altered by reducing the IPL energy levels. By advising the therapist during your next session if this discomfort continues, we will easily be able to reduce the settings to suit your comfort zone. I have tried facials elsewhere, but the signature facial at Lekeyah day spa is the best. The girls are lovely and the whole experience is extremely relaxing.

After booking an appointment some 7 days in advance with a certain staff member, I found it rather strange when I arrived at the salon for my appointment to be called in for my appointment by a different member of your team to say that she would be looking after me today. At no time was I given an explanation as to why the person I had booked was not available. I was satisfied with the service I received on the day.
