My treatment itself was great, however there were a couple of things I wasn't happy with this time around. I was in the front treatment room so throughout the 90+ minutes I was in there I could hear everything that was going on in the reception area above the music that was playing so struggled to relax and enjoy the experience. I was also not asked about my current skincare regime nor given suggestions about what I could do with my areas of concern that I raised - i.e. pigmentation on forehead. My first treatment a few months ago was with Crystal and she was fabulous, I can't even remember the name of the lady who did this treatment.

The hard core sell on products and the lecture on looking after my skin better are the reasons why I come infrequently for facials or other treatments. It is what I despise most about beauty salons. Some of us are working mums with little time to spend on ourselves and the experience I was after was relaxation which I got in between lectures and sales pitches. The service otherwise was fine. The consultant should be given the freedom to make wise choices about who to “advise” and what to sell to. I made it very clear that this was a treat/relaxation but I feel like the consultant was under pressure to upsell.

i just wonder why in the same salon but everybody do the same job differently...every visited is difference if i get another girl ..one of the girls while she put the mask on my face she massaged my head ...i feel more relax ...and another girl apply the feeling'liquid down my neck...i think it is much better that way ...this time no massage and not apply down the neck ????

Lauren actually hurts you when she massages your calves , but didn't ask me anything - actually she didn't talk at all, so I wasn't comfortable saying anything. Maybe if she had actually talked to me maybe we would of discovered that I wanted shellac, but the gift voucher I had didn't include it. If the staff actually kept records they would know I get shellac. I am surprised that my husband wasn't offered an upgrade when he bought the voucher . He wouldn't remember but would of taken the upgrade if it was offered. Likewise, I would of paid the extra today if it was offered. I should of twigged something was wrong when the colour nail polishes didn't have the usual glittery colours I go for. Also I have noticed that Lauren has put the nail polish on my left big toe crooked. See photo. Today wasn't the normal pleasant experience I have come to expect.

It was a nice experience however the girl who did the massage spoke very fast and seemed a bit pushy and it kind of ruined the whole vibe of the experience. I put medium for the actual pressure and I walked away still with all the same knots there feeling like they'd hardly been affected. I also paid with a gift card and was told when I went to the counter there was only $1 on there and instead of just rescanning it originally the girls just kept asking me if I'd used it already, which I definitely had not.
