Today I had the absolute pleasure of meeting the beautiful Kate from Miss Gertrude. Having had the same hairdresser for 6 years I was very hesitant to try anywhere new. Although I definately wanted a change of atmosphere and something fresh, and I definately found it. I felt absolutely spoilt from the moment I walked in. Kate was very intuitive with what I wanted and I recieved exactly what I wanted with my hair. She took so much care and pride in eveything she did to ensure I was satisfied. The whole Miss Gertrude experience is just amazing. I am so happy I have found this little Gem and more importantly KATE!!

There maybe 20 plus hairdressers one minute from where I live but I have no hesitation to travel across town to this gem! I have been nicely 'stalking' John the owner for years as he moved from one salon to another, as no one understands how to cut my hair better! His gorgeous personality doesn't hurt either! Kate - my colorist - has been a new discovery. Gorgeous, fun, considerate, she puts you at ease immediately and comes up with a strategy for your hair. She knows what colours compliment an individual and works toward the perfect colour. Love this salon and would highly recommend (and do) to others!

The website booking system is not good particularly if you forget your password. It sends into a loop.
