I enjoy getting my hair cut at heading out Fitzroy because the staff are fantastic and do a really impressive job, however it at $70+ it is far too expensive for regular visits. I only go when I am really desperate for a fresh new hair cut in a hurry or if I have a promotional coupon/discount because I simply cannot afford to go there every 5 weeks.

The service I received was good but the therapist was too full on. I am a student and I love getting my eyebrows tinted and shaped, but the lady kept trying to up sell me products and treatments that I cannot afford. I also found that as soon as the therapist wiped off the tint she said 'oh I'm so happy with that, it looks really good'. This meant that I felt uncomfortable asking for them to be darker, as I was not 100% with the tint. This comment made it hard to say how I truly felt about the job she had done. The assistant also said she would write down on my file that she was my favoured assistant. This would be great if I asked her to do this, but I didn't and i preferred previous therapists that I have had in the past.

I was really disappointed with my experience on Saturday. It was a constant sales pitch from all angles of the business. Firstly, I was told I would get a treatment without being given any options on price. A quote was left on the bench next to me but I was not alerted to the price, and noticed it far too late. Secondly, while I was having my hair coloured the coulourist tried to sell me some amazing product and then a beauty therapist came to give me a complimentary hand massage. The whole time she tried to pitch her products to me and asked me three times if I wanted some UV treatment, to which I had responded I did not the first time she asked. Pasquale cut my hair and he was friendly and lovely. But as I walking out I was again stopped by the beauty therapist to see if I wanted to book in for a treatment. I blame management for this hideous experience. If you didn't put such ridiculous sales targets on the poor kids jobs then it would be a much more pleasant experience. I banned you last time for increasing the price of my haircut and not passing it on to the hairdresser. I have banned you again. This time it will stick.
