I was looking for a change of Colour. Showed a picture and was given a new Colour. Unfortunately not impressed and have booked for my next appointment to hopefully rectify if with someone who will take time to listen about the Colour I hope to achieve.

I believe that when a person is booked in for their hair to be coloured in any manner that it should just come with a blow dry for their hair. I’ve personally not heard of any other hairdresser that charges seperate for this and having to book. I feel that this salon is quite overpriced for the services. The staff are generally lovely I’ve had more than one rude experience from some of the hairdressers.

I had a nice service from the hairdressers during my visit but when I went to pay I was asked to pay an extra $20 for a service I didn’t request. Booked a wash and a trim and the girls dried my hair prior to the trim. I didn’t ask for it and I would expect if there is an extra charge I would be asked prior as I live on a tight budget. I was also told that I had to pay a $2 green fee. I said I didn’t see that on the web site and I hadn’t budgeted for it. The lady at the register said she would remove it and was quiet rude about it. I paid and she didn’t say thank you or goodbye. It made a lovely visit end horribly. Charges need to be black and white for us girls that live on a budget.

Today I was looked after by George because Claire was unexpectedly off sick. I was satisfied with how George attempted to manage my apt during what was a busy time. At one point she had 3 ladies who she was managing and as a result, I had to wait longer than needed first to have the colour washed out and again to have a trim. While observing the other staff in the salon, I couldn't see a supportive team at work between the staff. The other hairdressers didn't have as many clients waiting or that they were managing as Claire, but they didn't offer to help and she didn't ask for help from them. Perhaps this is not the expectation, but from personal experience, the effect on the clients and the staff is improved when the staff all work together to help one another through unexpectedly busy times such as this, and disappointingly it appeared lacking.
