Haircut was beautiful as always as was the lovely girl who did the cut. However unfortunately I had an unsupervised apprentice complete my wash and treatment. I know they were learning but I don’t always visit this salon as I usually consider it a treat/splurge for me and so I would have preferred to have my usual experience which I feel like is worth every dollar especially since I had an event scheduled for the following day. However while getting my hair washed it was ice cold for most of the time. A lot of water splashing in my face. I could hear the tap getting knocked about and dropped. It was clear the young girl wasn’t confident on where everything was/if it was the right products to even use. And I was sent back to the chair to wait for the main stylist for 5/10 mins and my hair was cold and dripping wet. I even had to double check if I had been given the treatment when I got back to my seat as usually we go through the different treatments and pick one etc but I seemed to get an instant spray on one of some kind this time. Lastly I can only assume due to the wash and treatment/ no conditioner my hair ended up being quite knotted and frizzy at the end which isn’t something I’ve ever experienced. I did point out some of this feedback to the nice lady who cut my hair and she did note that she would help the young girl for future which is great. However it hardly seems fair to me that I’ve paid the same premium cost for a very different experience than usual which I would not value the same.
