I have been to c'ba once before in their old building. I was referred by another long time client of theirs. The stylists are skilled and friendly. The new space is stunning to look at, the stylists are professional, however the prices are very high for the same services you receive elsewhere. Today I paid the best part of $200 for a cut and toner(gloss). I was honestly so disappointed with how my issue was handled. When you book with C'ba online you pay a $50 deposit. No worries. All paid, then I went in and discussed with the stylist what I was after. She quoted me $135. I said, all good, ok to go ahead. After the cut and toner (pretty basic cut and toner service) I paid the $135 and went on my way. When I checked my banking app later, I discovered the $50 deposit was not refunded. Meaning the total cost of the service was $185 which was not at all what I was quoted. I then called the store to query the issue and I was met with a very non-chalant 'sorry about that'. They were not understanding of my confusion or sorry at all. In a nutshell, I was left with basic hairdressing for $200, and a bitter taste in my mouth. Buyer beware at this salon, make sure to include your deposit in the quote.
