Lovely salon environment but unfortunately my visit was extremely disappointing as the results of my booking was a waste of my time & money. I booked to have a wash & blow dry so I could have some curls in my hair for a black tie event. The girl doing my hair asked if I’d like a treatment while at the basin, she did not tell me it would be an extra $45, I found that out at the end when paying. Treatment was on my hair for around 3 mins & did absolutely nothing to my hair. Then because my stylist was rushing me between others, she rushed through the curls, & didn’t hold the heat on them long enough, didn’t spray them individually to set as going & by the time I had walked 1.5 blocks back to the Pullman International, approx 5 minute walk, more than half the curls had dropped & particularly the right front side of my hair which was basically straight with the curls completely dropping out (the side she had ended on & rushed through the most to get me out & move to the next person). I literally wasted $130 as I can wash & style my own hair, but made the booking as I wanted a professional look for the event. What I got was disappointing & a disaster. One of the other ladies at our hotel came to my rescue & re-curled my hair for the event. Honestly this booking left me feeling ripped off!
