I attended the salon for a wash, cut and blowdry and was never given a price over the phone or when in salon and was absolutely blown away with the cost at the end. I was charged $120 and it wasn't explained to me why/what made it that expensive ie. Length, stylist who did the cut etc. I was truly in shock, I didn't even question it. I cannot believe I was not told about this pricing throughout the entire process. It has been a while since I visited this salon as I am no longer local, but the last few times I have come in, I have always had to wait minimum 20 minutes before even being seen by staff to begin my wash. In the past, the girl who was booked in for my makeup for an important event was over a half hour late! I've always had to wait which isn't always fair. I walked in and sat on the lounge as there was someone speaking to the lady at the counter. She was there for a while asking questions so I waited and almost 10 minutes passed before a male stylist asked if I had been greeted, to which I responded no. He was friendly and warm and told me he would see me soon. I waited longer. It was 25 minutes and someone finally came to take me for my wash. I told the male stylist (who did my cut and blowdry) that I was on a time schedule and he was understanding. Chloe also helped him blowdry my hair. I want to emphasise that I'm happy with my cut, but I expect better from staff regarding running on time and feeling like a valued client. Also, the girl at the front wasn't the friendliest of people and didn't seem apologetic for the time delay. I can understand it's a busy time but this is always the case when I come in. I also would like an explanation as to why I was charged $120 (only paid $100 as I had $20 remaining from a gift voucher which was noted in the system). Had I known the cost, I would've just purchased products. I'm genuinely curious why I was charged that amount and I'd like to know why I wasn't told before getting in the chair. If it's the stylist, next time I'd rather be told so I can select a junior or someone who wouldn't be as expensive for a short cut and blowdry. Thanks, Nicole
