Steve really listened, and clearly knows how to cut hair.. as someone who hasn't been to a hair dresser in about 14 years and never had a cut I've been really happy with, trust me it is a big deal to say I am really happy with the service and result from trusting my curls with Harlequin hair. As a very much "fine straight hair" girl I love getting my hair done with Steve. I made the decision to do the big cut last year after struggling with hair loss and Steve designed a pixie cut that suited my face, age and preference. He also does my girls hair and they are extremely happy with the results.

Steve often promotes his talent for addressing curls, something I have observed in his salon, but as a straight haired woman who just needs a really good colourist and a someone I can trust to cut my hair as I would like it, I will always pick Steve. He’ll not just make your day, he’ll make your week with all the compliments you’ll get cause your hair is looking amazing.

I had previously botched up my own colour with a supermarket bought hair colour during COVID-19 lockdowns. Tanya did a fantastic job at working with the residual colour rather than fighting it and the result was amazing. She took time to research and teach me how to do my own hair with a style of my choosing at my wedding the following day and gave me some great tips on how to get more defined curls. I can not recommend this salon, Tanya and Steve enough!
