It was a strange experience that left me not happy and sore. It started with a consultant for my facial who made me uncomfortable with worried looks and talking too much about where I should sit, leave things and what I should do while i waited various times throughout the appointment. The advice given about my face was contradictory and given with a very concerned voice. One minute saying my face was very dehydrated, then that it was red and it just felt unresolved to what state my skin was in. Pressure to but a product came in the first sentence of the consultation. In addition during the facial my neck and shoulders were aggravated by the short massage given. The deluxe pedicure was lovely however as in the past it isn't pleasurable when consultant is a smoker and you can smell the nicotine. The major complaint is that I was given the colour wheel in the darkened room and then the colour wasn't confirmed when first applied so the end result when I removed the eye mask was very different from what I expected. I left the appointment being made to feel bad I had not purchased product, with a colour on my toes I wasn't happy with and a headache from the music.

The note that who ever waxed my brows yesterday burnt the skin under my eye brow. On top of this I told her that I was growing out my brows and she took way too much off in between my eyes Please note she did ask me if the temp was ok, and it was, but on the next time she must of got it from a hotter part in the pot as it was way to hot. I was hoping that it would calm down over night, but it is still very red and painful. Please ensure she gets some more training

The spa pedicure I received felt incomplete and below the standards of the regular pedicures I have at my local 'walk in' nail centre. I've never had a pedicure where moisturiser wasn't applied to my feet before however this may have been due to the large graze on my ankle caused when the attendant slipped while exfoliating my feet. It was only when I left I realised the extent of the injury and to have applied any kind of moisturiser or lotion would have drawn attention to it during the service due to the pain it would have caused. I will not be returning.

Hi, I've been visiting Pure Indulgence stores for the past year (and have been getting my eyebrows waxed for over a decade!) and I have never experienced such bad service as I had today. I was served by Trinity, and right from the start she seem disinterested in my appointment. There was no greeting, or general chit chat, but straight into what colour I wanted to tint my eyebrows. This was fine, I was happy for no small talk. However, straight away she started applying wax to my eyebrows (without even discussing what shape I was after etc). After applying about 4 strips of wax, she said "Oh, I forget we were doing the tint, I should have done that first. Oh well". She continued to wax my eyebrows (still without asking me what shape I wanted) - while continually sniffing in my ear. As the waxing finished, she started coughing, and continued to cough all through my tint (never excusing herself, or making any attempt to wash her hands before touching my face). When I got home and had a proper look at my eyebrows, I can't believe how awful the waxing job is. My left eyebrow is not shaped at all, and I can clearly see hairs above and and the end of my eyebrow that should have been waxed. Overall, I have been left with a terrible feeling about Pure Indulgence, and I doubt I will return again.

This was absolutely the worst facial I have ever had. It hurt, the therapist was rough and spent an unusual amount of time playing with my hair (???) which hurt because she kept pulling it. It was as though she was trying to comb it with her fingers - really, really weird. Then she kept rubbing my décolletage -like she was trying to massage me but it was so rough that she kept pushing on the bottom of my throat, which felt like I was choking. She got product in my eye. Then she washed it out - but filled my ear with water in the process. She initially told me that she was applying a product which would tingle - that was fine, but then she stopped communicating, kept spraying a mist of some sort without any warning, so I kept inhaling it. She applied some kind of mask - after the tingling product - which she left on for so long that my face felt like concrete. Then, without any warning at all, she suddenly jerked the bed into a sitting position. Honestly, it was like an hour long combat experience. Today, my skin actually hurts and is quite flushed. Maybe she’s new, or it was her first facial - that’s fine, everyone has to learn. But the client ought to be warned that they’re getting a beginner- or given an option. The other therapists at this salon have been consistently great and although I knew that I wasn’t going to see my usual therapist, I did not expect to get the work experience kid. This was a terrible experience and a complete waste of money.
