I rarely have massages and I was looking forward to it, however I was disappointed in my visit. I wondered if my therapist who gave the massage was new as the room temp was cold and I realise you may not have control over that but the electric blanket was not on as it had been in previous visits. I understand that you may have changed the way you do things but I found it uncomfortable and therefore difficult to relax because it was cold. In addition, the way the therapist moved the bedding (blankets, pillow, etc) was very clunky - it was not smooth and unnoticed as in have experienced before at your salon. I hope this feedback is helpful.

I was told about a product I could use for congestion on my face and then I was not shown the product or anything

No towel on the bed at all, wax spilled on my neck, eyebrows over plucked leaving a bald patch after I specifically told the assistant that I wanted my brows neatened up only. Seemed put out when she tried to sell me product but I declined. Failed to show me the waxing in a mirror upon completion, failed to ask if I wanted some make up applied at the end. Asked about selling me the series when there is a note on my file saying I don’t want to be asked as I have been asked every visit in the last ten years and am not interested. Very rare bad experience in an otherwise great salon.

At no point at booking or when I arrived was there any mention of a surcharge until I went to pay. That is poor to inform of a surcharge at point of payment. No issue paying no if I was aware - there’s no mention of this on the website or when I booked . That’s extremely poor and lowered my opinion of the salon.

I have been coming to the salon for a while now. Never had a problem before. This is the first time I have had an appointment with this beautician, I think her name was Lauren. I was getting a brow and lip wax.The lip wax was perfect but the brow wax was not. When she showed me the shape in the mirror the first time noticed there was a gap in my right brow. I told her it looked weird and her answer was she assumed I was growing it out. I told her that wasn’t the case. She told me I could just fill it in with brow powder. I told her I don’t own any and asked if she could fix it. She kept asking what I used on my face, as if suggesting that it was some how my fault while trying to fix it. She also suggested I colour it in again. I told her what I use on my face (cleanser) and that I wear make up 3 times a year and don’t own brow powder. She said “bolocks” (something no one wants to hear will getting a wax) then continued to try and fix it, while not seeming to be happy having to do so. They are uneven, one is more arched than the other and one is longer than the other. Maybe I wouldn’t have minded so much about the mistake if she had apologized even once. Maybe I should have said something in the salon, but I just wanted to get out. I was so thrown and upset so I paid $40 for this and left.
