Today I had to see a different massage therapist than normal, as I had to change my appointment. I normally see Rachel, who is wonderful, but today I saw Zoe. As I was seeing someone new I wanted to make sure that she was aware of my history, specifically that I have titanium plates in my lower back and that I prefer light/minimal pressure in that area. Zoe proceeded to cut me off as I spoke and tell me curtly that she had read my file but gets that some clients "can be paranoid". As I was not aware that she had read my file, I was taken aback by how rude she was about this, as in my opinion it is not paranoia for me to ensure she knows that's a sensitive area for me. A few minutes later the massage began and she proceeded to firmly massage my lower back to the point where I actually had to say "ow" - at which she made a snorting laugh. Again, I had to mention that I don't want firm pressure down there. She proceeded to ignore me and keep massaging firmly, focusing on an area in which one of my more prominent spinal screws is. At this I had to tell her to stop massaging down there entirely. She seemed confused and asked if that was where my sciatic pain was - I had mentioned earlier that it was through my right hip and thigh, nowhere near where she was massaging on my left side - and I said no and she finally stopped and focused on my upper back. Unfortunately I was unable to enjoy the duration of the massage as I couldn't trust that she wouldn't try and massage my lower back again. This left me stressed and unhappy until it finally ended. I will certainly never be booking an appointment with Zoe again.

The girl at the desk who greeted me was really lovely and welcoming but the girl who provided the treatment just seemed like she couldn't be bothered. I'm not sure if this is her usual personality or if she was just having a bad day. There was no warmth to her, it was kind of like...ok let's just get this done!

The last time I did pedicure there was wonderful, a perfect result, the staff (I don't remember her name, unfirtunatelly) smoothened my foot so well, nail polish perfect done, nails shaped correctly. But this time, I told the staff that my foot needed to be smoothen very well, she did it just a little, without strength, the shape of the nails is bad, the nail polish is bad, everything got a really low quality.

Staff audibly loud in corridors throughout 1.5hr massage (which only went for an 1hr 15 with many breaks between). Very disjointed “experience”. Staff lovely demeanour & personable.

Very unhappy with how my brows were waxed. A 'tidy up' of my thick eyebrows doesn't mean wax/pluck them until they are thin and uneven. Will not be returning or recommending Pure Indulgence to others for beauty treatments.

Low rating on service experience and value for money of service experience due to the following: Booked my appointment 2 weeks ago for an express microdermabrasion. I was asked if I wanted to add a hydration mask so that they could include additional time for my session. I agreed specifying that I wanted to add a hydration mask along with my express microdermabrasion and Int appointment was confirmed with the hydration mask. Upon arrival of my appointment I was advised that my booking did not allow for the extra time for the hydration mask and could not have it. Unsatisfactory and a disappointing experience.
