It was okay. Unfortunately I didn’t receive a full 40 minute massage. It seems the stopwatch began as soon as I walked in (!) and included the time it took to get changed! All up the massage was approx. 30 minutes in total.

I booked a 30 min back massage for 4 pm, it says on the email of the booking it would go until 4:40 pm because there is a 10 min chat before the massage. I got there at 4 pm, waited a bit at the waiting area, then the professional came to me and took me inside, asked one thing and gave some instructions, so I got ready and she came back, massage started probably at 4:10 after all those things and she finished at 4:30, which means 20 min of massage, not 30. $75 is not cheap and missing 10 min of a massage is a big thing. Nothing to complaim about the massage itself, well done by the professional, but she has to finish at the right time.

I'm starting to feel like staff are pushing products and offers to meet sales targets, rather than what is needed for a regime. I recently purchased a four-pack facial service with products and on my second visit, was pushed to purchase a different three-pack service. It felt impersonal and unprofessional.

Now that only certain staff can do certain treatments I have to find a new massage therapist. This was the first massage with a different therapist and it was a disappointment. Very frustrating.

Overall excellent service and skill, however the one thing that always taints a visit is the constant up sell of products and treatment packages. If I come in for example for waxing I don't want to talk about my skin and how you expensive products are a necessity. Not only does it make clients feel uncomfortable when they simply don't want, need or can afford products. But makes the client think twice about coming back, knowing they will have to answer and feel pressured once again.
