Hi, I had my nails done by a very lovely girl at your salon. I was treating myself using a birthday gift voucher so that I have nice nails on Monday for my birthday. It's not often I get to have time out to be pampered and I was so looking forward to having lovely nails! At the time, I didn't look too much at my nails as lighting in there is dim- they were shiny and glossy from cuticle oil but now I'm home in the proper light there's so many imperfections with the polish. I could only upload one photo but I've taken a few I'd like you to see. When I've been to other salons my hands have been soaked and then cuticles and nail beds tidied up, nails cut to the same length and then filed, cleaned under the nail and then varnish applied, then some moisturiser and cuticle oil. They wernt soaked, I had to ask to have my cuticles pushed back and nail beds trimmed as she had filed and was just about to put varnish on. She did a light file and then applied the varnish and then some cuticle oil. My thumb nail touched the uv lamp and has ripples on the surface. I really don't like to complain and it's really awkward for me, but I used $45 dollars of my birthday gift card on this and I feel so disappointed and I was so excited about having them done! The girl who did them was so kind and friendly, and I know that if I went to a nail salon they do nails all day every day but I expected to come out with nails I am happy with but I'm really not. The varnish is really far from the nail bed also so they will grow out really quickly. Please let me know how we can resolve this, I don't want to get the girl in trouble but I also want to have this fixed up! Thanks, jo woods

Yesterday I was booked in for an 80 minute Pro Ultimate Facial. As soon as I arrived at Pure Indulgence I was greeted by the receptionist who was both friendly and welcoming. After filling in my details I was then introduced to the therapist who was going to complete my facial. She completed a skin assessment and then suggested I change my original booking of the Pro Ultimate Facial to a Christmas Special - more value for money , and for a $140 extra I could have another 2 facials at a later date. I thought that was a great idea and was keen to go ahead. I spoke to therapist about just wanting a relaxing facial as I had, had a big week. She then suggested I add on a micro to the facial - I declined as it is so close to Christmas I didn't want my skin breaking out and also I was only after relaxation. In entering the room, it was a very relaxing environment , the pillow under the knees to support my back and a heat pack on my lower back were all great touches. However, from there the up-selling continued. Throughout my facial, there were suggestions that I change my whole skin care line to dermalogica and that it was necessary to purchase at least an under eye serum and spot cream. These suggestions throughout the Facial made it less and less relaxing. Then during the middle of the treatment the music was turned up really loud and my therapist had to leave the room for 5 minutes to attempt to turn it down. The treatment finished up 10 minutes early and this time was spent showing me the products she had used and what products she believed I should purchase. I understand that part of the therapist's job is to upsell however I feel as though there is a time and place. A client who walks in and purely asks for a relaxing facial after a big week probably does not want to change her whole skin care line and purchase at least two new products after the treatment. At the beginning of the consult I said that I would purchase the 3 facials, however after the experience I did not want to come back so I ended up purchasing only that one Facial. It wasn't an awful experience, the environment for the most part was lovely and the products were beautiful - I would have just preferred less up-selling and more time for relaxation.

My initial feel of the salon and room was positive. The room was comfortable, ambiently lit. My therapist was very thoughtful with warming up the bed with an electric blanket, putting an eye pillow over my eyes when she turned up the lights. However,the entire waxing was terribly executed and was painful to a point where I thought she will yank off my skin too during the waxing. It felt as if the wax was put on way too thick, then she was attempted to cool it down with a wet cool tissue, but it didn't work. This resulted in a lot of pulling, definitely not a smooth process as it is normally. The reason i went here as I received a gift card to this salon so I thought I'd give it a try. The lady at the front desk where I paid, was dismissive and whilst she asked if I wanted to rebook, which I quietly declined. She turned to the people walking onto the salon without saying a bye.

My massage was in a very small room. The massage girl could barely move between the bed and the wall. It made it quite uncomfortable. Then within 5 seconds of finishing the massage she tried hard selling me a pack of massages. I know selling is a part of the job but it needs to wait until I'm out of the room at the front desk instead of half asleep still laying there mainly naked. It was inappropriate. I won't be going back there for that reason.

im a regular who every month gets a lash tint and brow wax - this visit the therapist confirmed my treatment before starting - only to be told that id only been booked in for the brow wax. Completely puzzled as to how this is the case given i had said both last month when i booked back in (and always get this). Was originally made to feel like it was my fault that the treatment wasnt right and was told that she (the therapist) would have to confirm she had time to do the rest - very much felt like it was an inconvenience until she returned and said that yes she had time. Lacked the head massage or hand massage that usually goes with it. I think this is now 4 months in a row this has happened. Today was the last straw - i dont think i will be returning especially given the value for money doesnt seem to be there any more (even more so with the price increase at the end of the month)
