The overall facial is good and the quality of product are good too. However, the therapist bringing in a substantial amount of product for you to buy before you leave the room is a bit off putting. Perhaps in future, ask the client if they are interested in discussing or purchasing products before applying that pressure sell. Overall a great experience but would have to say that the pressure to buy/add extra kind of ruined it for me.

Had a luxury hot oil pedicure. The service and treatment were nice. However there is nothing luxury about lying on a thick sheet of plastic with no pillow, knees over a foam roller, and awkwardly lifting your legs up and down into a bucket while blind folded with a towel. Why was I lying on a hard plastic sheet with no pillow??? I would have been more comfortable in one of the recliners at the nail salon. It wasn’t comfortable at all and my neck was so sore after an hour spent on a hard bed with no pillow.. For that amount of money I think it’s reasonable to have a pillow and at minimum a towel underneath you. I had to peel myself off the plastic afterwards. Nothing relaxing about it, but the pedicure looks great. Wouldn’t recommend.

I felt like my treatment was rushed. Brow wax and lash tint performed at the same time. When looking closely at results at home, one eye had half the lashes missed during the tint so there is now a noticeable gap down the bottom. Disappointed this time. Usually very satisfied.

My beautician had obviously been told to try and sell their skin care products. After telling her numerous times that I was not interested, the sales pitch continued relentlessly. Not the way to entice new customers. I will not be returning. I am not a child. If I want to purchase products I will, just don’t carry on and on. Something must be wrong if this salon is so desperate to sell their products.

The cost of the treatment was high and the therapist attempted to (nicely) sell me products at least 4 times during my treatment, this is off-putting and does not make me want to return. It made it an unenjoyable experience.

The treatment itself was lovely but while filling in paperwork and waiting to get started I had to endure the girls out front gossiping and complaining about work. It seemed very unprofessional and made it hard for me to relax in the environment. Lots of people - including myself - can be intimidated by this kind of situation. What if the girls are gossiping and complaining about you during and after your treatment? The calm and respectful environment needs to start from the second a client walks in the door. I also didn't enjoy having my relaxation interrupted with a push for an upsell during my treatment. Having occasionally visited a Pure Indulgence shop before I was prepared to get a sales pitch, and I don't begrudge them of this side of their business. But waiting ten minutes into my facial when I've finally relaxed a little to shine the UV light in my face and tell me that you'd recommend a different mask for me for only $20 more was disturbing. I'm sure many people are also made uncomfortable by these kinds of pitches and would similarly find it difficult to get back to relaxing after that. As annoying as it's been previously to get the sales pitch before the treatment, at least it meant you could fully relax knowing exactly what was going to happen. Like I said though, the actual treatment was very nice. Lovely products, a nice massage, and a very sweet attendant. I can't say I'd return if I didn't have another voucher, but the value for money was actually fairly good.
