The lady who completed my massage was professional, caring and did a great job. Ordinarily, I would rate her 10/10. HOWEVER, and I am sure through no fault of her own, she is obviously under instructions to try and upsell services to every client. She did this politely but I did not enjoy it at all. She attempted to sell me add on services to have at the end of my massage before it had commenced. At the end of the massage she attempted to sell me a further service and a product. One upsell attempt I would not have minded. Three was too much. As I stated (and from my previous employment experience) I am sure she was simply carrying out the instructions of her employer. Her employer should know that this kind of treatment completely does away with the caring feeling that I had gotten from the massage. This kind of treatment really reinforces that the customer is simply a commodity on which to make as much money as possible. As having to refuse upselling THREE times made me feel really uncomfortable I will not ever be using your services again. Shame, because everything else was great.

As a first time waxing experience with this salon was excellent, professional and value for money. Will definitely return again, the difference in this salon was no pushy product sales and they actually hand you a mirror and ask if you are happy with results, now that’s excellent service rather than getting home and not being happy with results. Would definitely recommend this place for waxing over other wax places in carindale shopping centre.

Im a long term client , my last 2 sessions have felt like it’s all about pushing products - sell , sell , sell ! It’s annoying and having the “recommendations “ consistently being repeated is annoying. Like all clients that have had years of peels , micros , needling etc . we are very aware of what’s required in the aftercare of these treatments. Perhaps a quick mention of a new product or a simple ask if we need to top up any products . The pushy sales tactics need to stop ! In 15 years I have never had these experiences.

I have been to Pure Indulgence before and as expected it was a very nice pampering session with one exception. More on that in a moment. This visit was specifically booked as I have to go into hospital in a few days for some surgery and it will be a while before I am very mobile again. I wanted to have a little "me" time and to have my hands and feet in top condition (vain I know, but it is what it is). So the exception I referred to earlier was that the therapist looking after me, while very good at her job was a little grating in the way she delivered "advice" and her timing as to when to talk wasn't great. When she set me up for my pedicure it was lovely - she ensured I was comfortable, placed a heat pack under my neck and across my eyes and told me to relax and enjoy. And then proceeded to talk pretty much non-stop about what poor condition my feet were in, did I never moisturise? etc etc. She also was constantly "on-selling" treatments and products that I should try. I get that this is part of the job, but not constantly during my treatment and still pushing after I gently made it clear that I wasn't interested at this time because you know, upcoming surgery. As I said her skills were great but her verbal delivery needs some refining. I will definitely be going back to Pure Indulgence as I enjoyed my treatment immensely.

Had a wonderful eyebrow shape and eye lash tint by a very talented staff member- have paid for a package as the young lady is brilliant!
