I had been going to this salon for about 7 or 8 years, i love my hairdresser but will not go back on principle due to an incident a few weeks back. I had made an appointment 7 months in advance as i had a good friend's wedding to go to and wanted my hair done on that day. Sadly, the salon called the day before my appointment to cancel, and whilst i totally understand and sympathetic to the situation surrounding the cancellation, i was less than impressed with the salon's unsympathetic handling of my situation. When I explained I had to go to a wedding the receptionist made no attempt to try and accomodate me, explaining that the other hairdressers were fully booked. I eventually asked if she could at least put me on a waitng list for that day, but of course there were no cancellations that day - if i didn't have a wedding to go to i would have been happy to reschedule to another day, but in this case i really needed to get something done! I ended up feeling really let down.

My only negative comment would be that as I had to take time off work then have to wait nearly half an hour after my actual appointment time is a little disappointing as it then adds to the cost of the service.

Just a little too expensive for the same service offered by other salons in Canberra. Staff were lovely and friendly.

This was my first visit. The salon was behind schedule and the service took way too long. The selection of magazines was outdated and disappointing. I expect a salon of this calibre to have recent mags, minor but pertinent detail, especially when the service is slow and you get to read through several. The staff were very helpful in every other respect and I was happy with the final result. I will be going back for another go, however, if it is behind schedule and not timely again ... I will not be using the salon again and won't recommend it to friends. I have already had a number of friends ask and have reserved comment. Time is a precious resource to us all and I don't have time for a 3 hour colour. Will let you know how it goes in several weeks.

I love the experience of coming to Off London and will always come back. This time round, I was after some soft curls and didn't want them too big to make my hair look too short. I even had a photo but didn't get what I was after. The apprentice tried to fix it but wasn't quite getting what i was after so I left and ended up fixing my hair at home.

The staff are very friendly and always help me to choose the right colour or style for my event. The massage chairs when getting your hair washed is a dream! It may be that it is leading up to the Christmas period however the appointments seem a bit rushed, and the staff were under pressure to finish every appoint. Some clients were left waiting a while to begin their appointment due to the rush. Again I put this down to a demanding Christmas season. The staff were always friendly though, offered great advice and always finished their jobs to the highest standard.
