I do not feel like I am receiving value for money. I pay around $300 and do not leave the salon wowed by my new hair. I really like the atmosphere and all the stylists/receptionists are very friendly and professional but I feel let down by the cost and as such have been leaving longer periods between appointments which is not ideal. There are never any promotions or discount incentives offered to long term clients which were offered in previous salons - this is quite disappointing.

The experience at Off London is always a great one. I however would like hairdresser to be able to provide advice on hairstyles and cuts instead of agreeing with everything I say. I like to trust the professionals and refer to their advice. I happy to give the general idea of what I like but I like to be taken care of. Part of the experience is to know that we can close our eyes and the result will be amazing. This is missing at Off London. Saying that, compared to other hairdressers I tried in Canberra, they are by far better. Compared to the international crowd, well, there is room for improvement. I refered one of my bridesmaid there for my wedding, and she told me recently she had a terrible experience, the cut was asymetric and much shorter than what she wanted. I am now reluctant to refer more people. Although the person that looked after her has now left the salon.

Staff are very nice and friendly but I'm not sure why the prices have gone up by more than %10 since December 2016. I can understand the %4 raise which appears in the website but I wonder about why I should be charged more than that for the same service as last year. Perhaps the website needs to be updated.

The gentleman who cut my hair did a great job but it was really unpleasant because he had terrible body odor. I really couldn't wait to leave and skipped the styling of my hair.

The ambience is always lovely at off london. I was greeted well and the overall experience was fine. The stylist did not want to talk, which was fine, but it was extremely odd how he would not answer my questions for his professional advice. I had no clue what the haircut was going to look like at the end, because again there was minimal communication from the stylist's end. After a few attempts of getting professional advice, I sat nervously absolutely hating the process. I had long healthy hair after taking many inches off, I have more split ends on my ends from being burnt from the hair dryer I guess, my scalp was burning from the heat (I would not mention this if it was not a big deal), at one point almost felt like my eyerbrow and forehead would be burnt too. So what do I think of the haircut? I'm sure I'll grow to like it, I hate it for now.

I think it's an incredibly busy salon so it isn't as if you go in there to 'relax'. I didn't feel rushed but you can sense the staff are. The head massage was a bit bland, it would be nice if it was more pressure point focused, just makes the client feel extra special. The coffee was a plus. I found it a bit odd and sightly disassociating when the staff would talk to me via the mirror, you can face the client and talk to them when asking if they would like something. It's a bit strange to have the conversation via reflection in the mirror. Toni was great and extremely lovely, she did a brilliant job on my hair. The pricing for the cut was fantastic so I will definitely be back.
