While I love the service and the front counter people, I think the salon could provide greater transparency on the cost of the service at the time it is being charged ie: on the invoicing docket. I get the same thing pretty much every time but find the cost can sometimes vary by up to $40 or $50, without buying any product. I would also like to know whether they are able to do more trendy haircuts such as soft modern perms or shag cuts. The information might be on the website but it would be good to see something upfront like a notice board of some sort, or a video on a TV screen of services provided, types of cuts and colours available in the salon. The blank wall near the wash basins would be a good spot for a screen. Otherwise this is a great salon and I have always loved going there. PS. would it work to provide a small snack with the coffees? Not sure but I will leave it to you to think about it.
