As always colour by Aaron was excellent. Cut however was clearly 'squashed in' and low priority. During the cut the hair dresser met with several other clients and I was finally left, after three hours of colour and half a cut, for excessively extended time while she engaged in a detailed discussion with next client which included wandering around salon to get samples. I appreciate lining clients up but this was insulting. I felt like I was forgotten. Even the trainee observed how long I was left sitting with wet hair and half a cut. They finally interupted the cutter and suggested they come back. WELL DONE TRAINEE! Finally I asked if I could dry my own hair and leave. Cut was heavy handed and not matched with the trim requested. I have not had a bad cut in years as I have the same cut every time, so I think this just reflected how little care and time was applied. Will have colour again. Won't waste time in a cut. For 300 dollars colour and cut I expect better service. Will be back to see Aaron, will never get my hair cut here again.

I enjoy getting my hair cut at heading out Fitzroy because the staff are fantastic and do a really impressive job, however it at $70+ it is far too expensive for regular visits. I only go when I am really desperate for a fresh new hair cut in a hurry or if I have a promotional coupon/discount because I simply cannot afford to go there every 5 weeks.

Bit expensive for regular use. Very easy online booking system. Good work on hair and nails. Lovely staff. Great for a "special" style for evening events.

The service was excellent. The guy who did my blow wave was fantastic and I am really happy with the reslut. The only negative for me is the price. I just think $75 for a blow wave is too expensive. I appreciate that I have particularly long hair but I don't think $75 is a competitive rate. I have never paid more than $65 (and usually pay around $50) for a blow wave including at comparable salons. On the whole though, a great experience. I am just not sure I could justify going back at that price.

The treatment rooms really need a makeover - they are in quite poor condition for the price you pay for the service. Walls needs new paint, aircon doesn't always work, floor looks dirty (even though I have no doubt it is clean - it just looks dirty). I definitely wouldn't be going there for a relaxing "spa" experience even when the beautician is qualified and good at her job.
