I actually really liked soooo much of the experience. The girls are all super lovely and really encouraging. One of the girls who trimmed and styled my hair did such an amazing job! I only have good things to say there. I went to pay and I had been charged for a hair treatment, which caught me off guard as I hadn’t even been asked if i wanted a treatment. I know is pretty standard to ask before a wash, especially if being charged an extra $50 for a treatment. From the beginning a very young gal took me to my chair then to the basin, the topic of a treatment never came up. I thought it must’ve been really busy and the very young girl washing my hair was in a rush because she was scrubbing the shampoo quickly and intensely. I didn’t mind because she was very kind & i thought maybe she had a lot of people to see. The hair washing seemed a pretty standard time nothing too long so even then i thought nothing of having a treatment. The cutting and styling took the longest (felt pretty standard) i know the lead hair dresser was doing a blow dry on me and cutting someone else’s hair simultaneously. And she was super lovely and professional. So all in all my experience was great and of course understand the multi tasking. I am more disappointed that i almost felt coerced into buying a treatment I didn’t consent to after a great time and cut. I expressed to the cashier girl after i paid that I didn’t get a treatment and she checked with the young girl who washed my hair who confirmed i did. The cashier gal apologised and said she the young girl should’ve asked but then that was pretty much all that happened. That left me feeling a bit upset and that the young girls didn’t know how to handle the situation & lack of professionalism and I had to pay the cost of it.
