The reason I come to your salon is for that little bit extra, like the hot towel post wax. This is hit and miss. Sometimes I get it and other times I don’t. Today I didn’t and I was disappointed. I also thought it was excessive to pay $55 for a shellac toes with no pedi. I won’t return for that service given the price point.

Attempted to use "Birthday Gift Voucher" only to find that it was expired only 3 months after it was issued. That is not a gift at all. Obviously just for marketing purposes. What difference does it make to you when the person chooses to use it, if it is indeed a gift. Very disappointing. Also I was kept waiting 20minutes after my appointment time. This made me late to pick up my daughter & although the therapist told me it would not reduce my treatment time. My one hour facial started 20min late & finished at 10 minutes past the hour, so was actually 50 minutes.

Hi I turned up for my appointment on Saturday which was a prepaid facial special . The booking had been deleted despite having confirmed I was coming via text a few days before . There was no explanation given as to why this had happened . And the girls at the salon weren’t overly apologetic . One lady set up room 2 downstairs which was not a facial room and was uncomfortable compared to normal facial rooms . I still don’t know why it happened . They asked if I wanted to come back another time but given I’d driven from far way and got my kids looked after I wanted it to go ahead . I feel it was unusual but also felt there was no responsibility taken -or a professional response other than the girl who did my facial and tried to rearrange the room etc and fit me in . Just seemed disorganised and unprofessional and passing the buck saying it must have been a colleague who had done it

I booked in an express pedicure for $55 and it doesn't have a description online for the Balwyn location. However, at other Ella Bache locations an express pedicure includes: 'An essential treatment for tired feet. Includes a soothing foot bath, heel loofah, nail care and polish application' The treatment I received today for my express pedicure booking was a file and polish. No soothing foot bath or heel loofah. However I was still charged $55. When I questioned if I had received the 'express pedicure' or just 'file and polish', I was told I'd received the express pedicure service and $55 is the correct charge.
