Overall we had a good day and enjoyed the 1hr massage . However I felt the premises is a bit run down and on arrival no run down of what we can do or expect so we just wondered around and found a nice guard who took us to a place for a nice lunch . We arrived at the Spa to see what we need to do and were just told to be back 15 minutes prior ,enquired about the pool and was told yes we could use the pool . We did use the pool and in the end we found out that we could get free towels and robes ... Questionnaire was completed not sure why as the areas we ticketed were not covered or discussed eg. I ticketed that I would like to know products used .. Staff seems overwhelmed and the pool area was tired with old used towels on bench seats for ages .. Did not feel like a calming place at all , I have had much better .

I’ve been here before and have had a much better overall experience. This time was a bit different. I couldn’t relax a great amount just before the massage because workers were having a loud conversation/meeting in an adjacent room which didn’t set a great tone. Also, the massage itself was great for arms and legs but didn’t relieve any back or shoulder tension.

first time there, was not explained properly. Beds you lye on are very thin and hard. uncomfortable

On arrival it was nice but then heading into the bathrooms it was very dirty and messy. Over flowing laundry baskets, dirt on the floor. Moving into the quiet area before the experience was lovely and peaceful. It was the perfect calming environment before heading into the room. Upon entering the room it was extremely hot and uncomfortable. I thought the temp could just be changed however I waited for about 5-10 minutes of my massage time for the therapist to get a fan and then set it up. Once the treatment started it was quite noisy outside the room. I assume with other customers who were laughing and talking. Perhaps signs that ask for quiet due to treatments in progress. The treatment its self was lovely and I can’t fault. Afterwards we used the pool and returned to the showers which were also dirty and nowhere to put try clothing in the cubical. Cleanliness is what let my experience down.

Massage beds were slightly small and uncomfortable not the luxury you would expected! Women’s change rooms were good however men’s were too small.

Was looking forward to this treatment for a little while as we were celebrating our anniversary. Had great customer service over the phone by an English lady. She was extremely kind and helpful. On arrival, we were greeted by the same English lady, and were told what to do to prepare for the experience. We decided to head down to the relaxation lounge to wait instead of by the pool. The lounge and rooms were stunning, and created a beautiful atmosphere. My partner had an hour massage whereas I opted for the 30min massage with a 30min facial. The massage was nice, a little firm in some areas. The therapists didn’t ask us whether the pressure was suitable. Not a big deal. When it came to the facial, I was a little disappointed. The therapist did not take my eyelash extensions into consideration during the cleansing / exfoliation. Quite a bit of product went into my eyes, and I felt like I needed to squint to avoid this. She was quite rough with the hot towel removal considering I had sensitive skin. The massage component of the facial was lovely. Was a little disappointing to feel only 2 products being used at the end. My skin didn’t feel much more hydrated and left with scrub still around my eyes. I was interested in products, although we didn’t see our therapists before we left for more information. The 2-course lunch at Joseph’s was delicious as always. Great value for money, I just wish the facial was a bit better. As a therapist myself, you really want to be mindful of these things and expect a certain standard.
