A group of 10 attended LM Spa for a massage and devonshire tea. Whilst our experience at the spa was pleasant and relaxing, I was very disappointed at the way we were treated in the restaurant. Our booking was not communicated well and the restaurant assumed we were coming for dinner. We were made to wait in the lobby for at least 30 minutes before our table was ready. At no point during the wait or during our "tea" were we even offered coffee or tea - we were only given water. Our dietary requirements were not listed (one vegan) and we had to ask again for a vegan option. The attitude of the staff made us feel like we weren't welcome. Further, the price we were quoted at the time of booking was less than what we were asked to pay on the day - if there had been a price increase in the weeks before our appointment then this should have been communicated to us prior to attending.

Both my partner and I missed areas for our massage that we highlighted as key points, and at times it felt like the masseuse was making it up as they went. I also had one side of my neck done but not the other. Also, the prices we paid were different to those listed in the bedroom, by $75 all up- so overall we are very disappointed with the experience!

Worst experience ever. I have been going here for years and know how good a standard this spa has been but this was the worst experience i have ever had on this visit. There was no one to great me or offer a drink. I waited 10 minutes for the therapist who was not with anyone.minutesThe Therapist didnt ask me what i wanted but told me what i was having. I tried to ask about modifying the booking as i was told by reception to talk to the therapist and was told they do not do the treatments that i mentioned ( which are listed on the spa menu). There for my only choice was a massage. The massage itself the most uneven painful and odd massage I've ever had.My arms were left raised above my head for an house, my shins were attempted to be massaged and in the end I was given what was meant to be a head massage (that i didn't want) which just circled around the top of my head and made my hair look like a birds nest. The whole time I could hear the other therapists chatting over the music in the next room.I was supposed to get a glass of wine/bubbles. I had to go chase it up after my session. The pool was lovely and large but quite cold. The spa was not very strong. To pay for a pool session is nnot worth the money. The food at the pool was super expensive with the chips being $12 and a cheese platter being $50. No food is available after 4:40 and the only indicator is the app to order tells you you can't order at this time. I will be thinking long and hard before returning

The therapist did not introduce herself. She massaged over the spine and was very uncomfortable and had to use a heat patch after it because my back was so sore. I asked for light pressure as I am very skinny and prefer light relaxing massage.

For Christmas 2024 my husband purchased a voucher for L.M. Spa. When I visited the spa house last year it was such an amazing experience. So much so, that I requested a spa voucher for Christmas every year. Yesterday I used my 2025 Christmas voucher and my experience could not have been any more disappointing. From the moment the therapist walked down the stairs, I sensed that this was not going to be a good experience. During the treatment, I had to fight the urge to get up from the table because it was a waste of my time and money. The therapist appeared to be unwell. She was sniffling and breathing through her mouth. I was breathing in her breath which was really disconcerting. If she was unwell she should have worn a mask. She also yawned a number of times. I was getting cold and advised her. While she turned the heater on and provided another towel she did not ask me if I was comfortable. I was cold throughout the treatment. The treatment itself was terrible. The therapist just wasn't focused. It would have to be the worst massage I have ever received. At one point she was rubbing the back of my neck, and it was rubbing, not massaging and it felt like it went on forever. She did the same with my scalp, to the point where I asked her to stop. By the end of the treatment I felt like an oil slick. I was absolutely covered in oil. I had to wash my hair three times to remove the oil. I was so looking forward to this experience and I was terribly disappointed. I came home and advised my husband not to purchase a voucher from L.M spa again. He was so disappointed for me. I have also woken up with a sore throat this morning. Please discuss with your staff the importance of wearing a face mask if they are not feeling well. We are living in a world where wearing a mask is welcomed and appreciated if someone is unwell especially if they are in a customer facing role. I am on two weeks leave and will be bitterly disappointed if I become unwell. Finally, your amenities are starting to show their age. The toilet and facilities are not of a standard I would expect from a Lancemore property. I hope you take all of the above into consideration. It appears L.M. Spa had dropped its standards and level of service during the past 12 months and that is very disappointing. Nerina Williams

Didn’t feel welcomed when I walked in .. Gowns overflowing in basket & slippers all over the floor in change rooms …Treatment was shorter than paid for .. Therapist did a great job !!
