Had the 30 minute jet spa. It was uneventful. It felt like a soak in the bathtub that I could've done in the room. They said they were going to set up the room with sparkling wine - I didn't receive that. There could've been at least essential oils or something to make it feel like a spa session. The light against the water was nice until I could see dead skin cells and blonde hair (not mine as I'm brunette) floating. It wasn't relaxing. There were minor points like offering us self service tea but no cups. The mannerisms didn't feel like a spa. It felt like "here's water, if you want it it's there." It didn't have the smell of a spa either. Nothing to start the journey into relaxation.

I had a delightful day, beginning with a cuppa and scone at the Refrectory Cafe followed by a wonderful 60 minute relaxation massage, then swim and steam room - it was a real, and rare, treat and I enjoyed every second!

The massage and facial were lovely but the venue itself was disappointing. The receptionist was sat eating lunch when we arrived which didnt set the tone for a professional experience, the showers and changing area was not very clean with quite a lot of hairs around and used towels thrown around. There were also used plates and glasses lying around on the table when we came out to relax. As a further note , the glasees ( which were plastic and again not what we expected) were only cleared away when we askwd for a glass of sparkling and they needed to take them to wash them for our drinks. I was definitely disappointed by the venue.

This was our second visit to LM Spa for our wedding anniversary getaway. Last year's experience was excellent; therefore, we decided to come back and enjoy a similar experience. Unfortunately, we did not feel the same excitement as before. The quality of service provided was not at the same standard as last year, when the package cost us more.
