Hi - all the staff are very lovely and I am always very happy with my hair - which of course is the most important thing. So thank you! The two things that would make a big difference to the experience for me are: (1) a longer/better head massage during the hair wash (even when I paid the extra $35 for the additional conditioning treatment and massage it was pretty short and not luxurious and I would expect even without paying that additional charge that a salon of your high quality would spend a bit more time on this); (2) after a stressful week at work, I would really like the time at the hairdresser to be peaceful and relaxing but I find the loud, nightclub style music very jangly and targeted at a young clientele. I wonder if it would be worth surveying your clients to see, on balance, what kind of music they would like - or no music - to make it the most enjoyable experience possible for your clients. I've been coming to the Cataldo's Woden salon for a number of years and the gracious, warm and courteous welcome I always receive is just one small part of why I value the service Karen and her team provide. They know their business and their products and appreciate my requirements. The service provided is professional, efficient and the salon has such a friendly, safe (important these days) vibe. It's been a while since I got my hair cut at Cataldo's but it's simply the best place in Canberra. Kristy cut my hair and she nailed it. It was a perfect cut and the first time she's ever cut my hair, which is extremely rare. Just outstanding skills and wonderful service. Thank you once again Cataldo's.

I cannot praise highly enough the wonderful experience I had with Cataldo’s Woden today. I walked in with a greying ‘birds nest’ and left with the most beautiful grey transition colour, foils, and style cut. I felt wonderful. From the moment I arrived for my appointment I felt special and was given wonderful advice from Kristy and Georgie as to what colour would suit me and how they were going to apply the base colour and the width and direction of foils. These ladies took the time to discuss and listen to me about what I hoped to achieve and what would give me the least obvious grey regrowth. Georgie was meticulous with my foils and when all said and done, I looked better than I had thought possible. Thanks so much Georgie! Kristy then cut my hair and styled it beautifully to complement my age, new colour and length. I left the salon feeling younger than my 62 years. I am so pleased with the outcome and I really enjoyed the whole experience, Won’t be going anywhere else in future!

Fabulous salon and fabulous stylist! Only negative was the price; I’m a female that wears my hair very short on most of the back of my head and sides of (#2 clipper setting) and longer on the top and upper back of head and upper sides of head. Stylist shaved part of the sides and back and texturized the rest. Again, stylist did an excellent job, but was rather surprised at the $121 price tag. I was at the salon a total of 23 minutes and, as my hair is so short, only texturizing paste was used and maybe 2 minutes max with a hair dryer. It would be awesome if there could be a different price list for females with very short hair that requires very little cut and style; perhaps the same price a man with short hair is charged.
