Consistently good service, from the lovely Jess, and fab Rachel on reception! Ive lost track of the years I’ve been attending the Woden store, today(Friday 20th nov) i noticed a lovely act of kindness. Smiles and kindness are always on view ...but this was extra... I work in a hospital and am a nurse by background so notice emotion in people when others may miss signs,,, a lady came in while my foils were “cooking” she had a scarf on her head. I noticed her in my mirror as she was wiping her eyes and blowing her nose. It was obviously a confronting moment in her journey. Can you imagine when you have lost your hair as the results of a medical condition and enter a hair salon with people being treated and made to feel better with all the hair improvements that we receive Karen approached her, she sat down and talked to her on a very kind and equal level. It obviously made the lady feel at ease as she didn’t cry again and talked about the wig she produced from her bag.(Ipromise I did observe with distance and discretion) She seemed very happy with Karens advice - they moved chairs after this so I don’t know but I’m sure she left feeling better than she came into Cataldos -

I cannot praise highly enough the wonderful experience I had with Cataldo’s Woden today. I walked in with a greying ‘birds nest’ and left with the most beautiful grey transition colour, foils, and style cut. I felt wonderful. From the moment I arrived for my appointment I felt special and was given wonderful advice from Kristy and Georgie as to what colour would suit me and how they were going to apply the base colour and the width and direction of foils. These ladies took the time to discuss and listen to me about what I hoped to achieve and what would give me the least obvious grey regrowth. Georgie was meticulous with my foils and when all said and done, I looked better than I had thought possible. Thanks so much Georgie! Kristy then cut my hair and styled it beautifully to complement my age, new colour and length. I left the salon feeling younger than my 62 years. I am so pleased with the outcome and I really enjoyed the whole experience, Won’t be going anywhere else in future!
