Consistently good service, from the lovely Jess, and fab Rachel on reception! Ive lost track of the years I’ve been attending the Woden store, today(Friday 20th nov) i noticed a lovely act of kindness. Smiles and kindness are always on view ...but this was extra... I work in a hospital and am a nurse by background so notice emotion in people when others may miss signs,,, a lady came in while my foils were “cooking” she had a scarf on her head. I noticed her in my mirror as she was wiping her eyes and blowing her nose. It was obviously a confronting moment in her journey. Can you imagine when you have lost your hair as the results of a medical condition and enter a hair salon with people being treated and made to feel better with all the hair improvements that we receive Karen approached her, she sat down and talked to her on a very kind and equal level. It obviously made the lady feel at ease as she didn’t cry again and talked about the wig she produced from her bag.(Ipromise I did observe with distance and discretion) She seemed very happy with Karens advice - they moved chairs after this so I don’t know but I’m sure she left feeling better than she came into Cataldos -
