I recently visited the Salon and had a bit of a mixed experience. It started off wonderfully—the initial cut and style were absolutely amazing. The attention to detail and skill shown during the haircut were top-notch, and I was really happy with how it was shaping up. However, things became a little uncomfortable when it came time to remove the cap. I asked if I was booked in for a colour, and was told I wasn’t. After checking, it turned out I was booked in, but it hadn’t been entered into the system correctly. Although it was quickly corrected, I felt a bit awkward from that point on—as though I’d done something wrong by questioning it. When it came time to choose between colour and toner, I didn’t feel fully supported in the decision and ended up going with a toner. That said, the young man who took over the service at that point was absolutely lovely—professional, kind, and really helped turn things around with his warm and attentive approach. Overall, while the end result was still nice and the team clearly has talent, the miscommunication and the way it made me feel did take away from the experience a bit. I hope it was just a one-off oversight, because the potential for an amazing salon experience is definitely.
