Kyna …..WOW what can I say other than AMAZING I travel 2 hours for my beauty services because when you know you know!!! And I will continue my 3 weekly routine simply because you can’t put a price on feeling great. I’ve found all the girls at the beauty room to be welcoming,caring and kind they take the time to explain the process so if you don’t like the outcome you would know why and maybe if that did happen ( highly unlikely)it’s best to not have it done again all I can say is it’s really a lovely atmosphere I also love being able to chat to each of the ladies while having my treatment done. Well I’ve said it all there really is no need to write a 4 page novel. Personally I Highly recommend the Beauty room time and time again. So Book now I’d be beyond shocked if you didn’t love the ladies and the professional service they provide.

I’m really disappointed with my experience here. I booked a brow lamination, tint and wax, as well as a lash lift. While the lash lift itself is fine, I’m extremely unhappy with my brows and unfortunately won’t be returning. I explained at the beginning that I had never had a brow lamination before. When I was asked what look I wanted, I said I wasn’t entirely sure because it was my first time, but that my main reason for trying lamination was to help my brows hold their shape as they tend to fall flat. I specifically said that I did not like the very upright, slick or permanently wet looking laminated brow and wanted to avoid that look. Unfortunately, that is exactly how my brows turned out. I understand that there are limitations to what a particular treatment can achieve, but that is where I expect the professional providing the service to advise me. If the look I was describing wasn’t achievable with brow lamination, I would have expected to be told that before proceeding. I would simply have chosen a different service. There seemed to be very little consideration of whether the treatment or technique was actually appropriate for my brows and the result I had described. The tint was also extremely dark and was taken right through to the very inside of my brows. I’ve had my brows tinted at many different salons and have never had them come out looking this heavy and blocky. I was reassured that much of what I was seeing was tint and product and that they would look different once I washed them. I followed the aftercare instructions and waited until the following morning to wash them, but unfortunately they still look essentially the same. The waxing was disappointing as well. When I got home I noticed quite a few hairs had been missed and ended up having to tweeze them myself. The whole process felt a little backwards and lacking in attention to detail. I would have expected the brows to be properly shaped and prepared so the lamination and tint were being applied to a clean, considered brow shape. More broadly, the salon didn’t give me much confidence in the level of practical experience of the staff. Everyone seemed very young and the service felt more like someone following the steps of a treatment than an experienced beautician assessing the individual client, understanding what they were asking for and adjusting or recommending services accordingly. There is a reasonable expectation when you go to a professional beauty salon that you can rely on their expertise, particularly when you tell them you’ve never had a treatment before. I also felt rushed from the beginning. I appreciate that I booked a late appointment, but if appointments are offered at that time, clients should still receive the same level of care and attention as someone booked earlier in the day. Having my beautician shouting across the salon to another staff member about “going to Chelsea’s on Friday” while I was being treated only added to the feeling that everyone was ready to finish up and leave. I left with extremely dark, slick brows that are much larger and more prominent than I wanted, despite specifically explaining that this was the look I wanted to avoid. It’s particularly upsetting because brows aren’t something you can hide while you wait for a treatment to wear off. The lash lift was fine, but after this experience I’ll be going elsewhere for that in future too.
