The Source hairdressing is such a lovely salon and has great potential. I love the sensory journey however it would be nice to enjoy the hand massage without the massager talking to me… I also find it a little annoying being moved from seat to seat, why can’t clients stay in the same chair from start to finish, aside from the washing station. Tara is absolutely lovely, she’s fast and efficient at what she does and is easy to talk to. I just wish she was a little more gentle when washing my hair, it’s not a very relaxing experience for me. Also $50 for a toner is way too much money! My previous salon only charged $25. $120 for partial foils is a bit rich too, I only had 15 or so foils at a max. If The Source want to charge that much money then the salon experience needs to be perfect. The washing station chairs need to be replaced as well, they’re not very comfortable. Sorry to seem so harsh, I really do think that it’s a beautifully presented salon, all staff are wonderful and kind. Tara is an awesome hairdresser and so nice to talk to during my visit. I guess I just feel like I should point out these little things so that you can strive for better, why not I say!

The salon was beautiful, and staff members lovely. The extra touches ie. herbal tea, charka cards and massage were appreciated. However, I do not feel the overall service was great value. Considering I was there for less than an hour, my hair was not even washed and it was a simple braid and bun $152 was expensive. (a shampoo, cut and blowdry on your website is quoted as $130).

Lovely staff but so expensive and pricing is more than some top salons charge in Perth. For what you pay, you expect to be walking out with an extraordinary hairstyle and expect family and friends to notice you’ve just been to a hairdressers. I’ve never had someone comment on my hair afterwards which I would expect given what I paid. I don’t think their pricing is realistic or aimed at ordinary people. I wouldn’t recommend them purely based on their pricing. Also, I’d rather forgo a sensory journey and hand massage and feel I’ve received value for money. I wish them all the best but don’t think I’m the target market they seek.

Was hoping for a bit more of a relaxing salon experience but there was lots of flies inside landing on my face which took away from it a little. My treatment was fine but I think a step was missed and at dry off was asked if my hair was dry enough when was still half wet, felt like she had just had enough. Felt a bit disappointed with value for money :( was also told the product range recommended to me by someone at the same salon was the produce known for causing build up, bit of conflicting info and feel like I left with wrong product choice first time
