CHANGING HAIRDRESSERS can be risky... so we've taken steps to make sure that it isn't.  We allocate extra time to find out exactly what you want before we start.  We employ the best of the best, including 3 time Tasmanian Hairdresser of the year(sole repesentative for Australia/New Zealand in the Trendzoom awards Berlin) plus highly awarded master stylists - award winners in every hairdressing category (including 2009,2010 national titles)  with  200 awards between them, plus specifically trained Goldwell Coloring to provide you with the best results and advice.  Relax on our massage couches while we wash your hair. Love the salon and staff. Would have liked to know that prices have gone up. As a pensioner I can only afford 4-5 haircuts a year instead is 10+ and now I have to reconsider even having the pleasure of that. I would be pleased to recommend it to anyone who could afford it.,and have already done so.

Cutting my hair is only part of the overall service. Sfumato is a pleasurable experience from arrival to departure. I had been away for a few years, tried hairdressing salons near to work/walking distance/other country. I always love coming to Sfumato, however there were a few elements lacking this visit (no head massage, no massage via the chair until just before my wash ended, no offer of a hot drink). I'm fairly sure this was just because my hair dresser wasn't feeling well (she'd had an injury over Easter), but I was a bit disappointed as all of these elements are what I'd expect to receive usually given the price of the service.

I was really pleased with my colour, and would recommend this salon to people who have had a bad experience in the past from other salons.
