Seems to be a common theme with hairdressers but it happens every time here that prices change and add ons are just part of the sales tactic. I asked over the phone if my 3 year old would be $35(last time I was quoted $30 but I had forgotten and thought it was $35) and she said it should be fine (I was never updated/confirmed but then just asked to pay $45). I didn't argue this time as the same thing happened last time and the owner?Wayne handed back the difference in cash in a very awkward scene. A toddler's haircut for $45 is steep. At other professional salon's it is $25-30 and the hair cut my son received was far worse this time than at the other place I will now go to(I specifically asked for the front to not be short as it makes him look strange .... she first had it still so long it was over his eyebrows so we said just a little more ... now it is about an inch above the eyebrows making it look terrible). I asked for advice on my poor health hair from the pools and she recommended a treatment. Then the person washing my hair didn't mention it so I asked ... she said "oh she didn't tell me anything about that" and then asked my hairdresser. The hairdresser just pointed to some bottle and said "just use that". The lady washing my hair then squirted some drops out of this bottle over my head and then just wrapped a towel over my head. I have had treatments before and it is usually an individual capsule that is then massaged thoroughly in. Big city prices and atmosphere inside ...but the rest doesn't follow through.
