I am posting this an anonymous as I do not wish to single out one therapist as I suspect my experience is reflective of the salons culture. The therapist was welcoming and friendly, no issues there. However, from the start of getting undressed and laying on the table the experience went south. The therapist advised me she was going to the bathroom. Approx 7-10 minutes later, she returned. From there, the treatment was disjointed. Constant stop /start, then I tweaked that she was on her mobile phone. That was the experience for the rest of the treatment. I have never had a facial where for 25+ minutes, while a peel was applied, then a mask, I have laid there WITH the therapist in the room. Usually there will be a face or hand massage, foot scrub, something. The therapist then exited the room for another extended period to bring in more product which would usually be organised at the start. Then it was more phone. I could hear the discreet tapping, the click of the ‘off’ button, then the device being slid into clothing. It was a lot of money for an incredibly underwhelming, non-relaxing experience that I could have done myself at home. The behaviour of the therapist was brazen which indicates to me it is a habit she has been indulging for some time (and getting away with) and most likely she isn’t the only one (hence my choice not to include traceable details). Ella Bache used to be known for their superior service and spa experience and unfortunately both were poor. It will be Endota Spa from now on.
