Shahin and Kunal Joshi have been a team in the beauty industry for 11 years, working in the busiest shopping centre in Perth. Originally operating under a franchise system, Shahin and Kunal both felt that they could offer more to their clients and the industry by operating under their own brand. And so Bang on Brows was born.

My first time at bang on brows and won’t be returning. Although the girls working were absolutely lovely, they did make my eyes very sore and caused lots of irritation as they were careless with the application of products in my eyes. Did not feel safe and that the products were being applied with caution. The price was the highest I’ve ever paid for a lash lift at a shocking $120 and probably the worst lift I’ve ever had. Lashes are nowhere near as lifted as previous places I have been and missed all the inner corners of lashes. My friends and family all said they could see no difference in my lashes so it was a waste of money in summary.

I arrived at my appointment time and they had 2 other clients. I kept getting left for them to attend to other clients. I was covered in wax which dried because they were talking to the lady next to me and then was was reapplied on top to remove. The lady who looked like the manager kept talking and stopping the staff member. Someone had left cupcakes there which the stopped the staff member for a few times to discus. Next minute I’m getting my eyebrow threaded. No explanation or anything. No checking if the shape of my eyebrows were correct. It was very slap dash. I had a completely different experience at bang on brows in southlands. If I go back that’s where I’ll go.

It was an exceptionally busy day, and even one of our team members who had already completed her rostered shift kindly chose to stay on to help ensure all clients were attended to promptly. Our team worked together to ensure each client received the care and attention they needed. All communication between staff was work-focused to maintain efficient service, and a team member also checked in with you during your visit to ensure you were happy with the results and to encourage open feedback. Regarding the cupcakes you mentioned, they were noticed on the counter while a team member was checking out another client and were initially assumed to belong to them. To confirm, the staff politely asked your husband, but he clarified they were not yours. The team member then briefly considered whether they may have been left behind by a previous client who had just completed a service, and asked the staff member attending to you if she had any information. This was done with the intention of contacting the client if needed, to ensure the item was returned to its rightful owner before the mall closed. We did our best to manage this discreetly so as not to interrupt your service. We’re truly sorry if any part of your experience felt rushed or unclear. I’m very disappointed from my experience today at Bang on Brows. In the past 10 years of maintaining my brows, they have never been an issue. I’ve never been to a Bang on Brows studio, but today I decided to try them. The tint was not applied evenly, and my brows are completely uneven. After explaining my disappointment multiple times, unfortunately the issue couldn’t be rectified. The beautician tried different techniques but unfortunately I can’t change the brows now. They have also been waxed unevenly. I won’t be coming back :( Very disappointed.

I have been to this store multiple times in past. Normally due to shortage of staff the girls who are doing threading will occasionally leave the customer they are threading for couple of minutes to guide people at the front desk to wait. But today my girl left me midway during my threading for good 10 minutes while she attended other customers at the front desk in detail. She did not understand one simple etiquette that I should have been her priority. And then there was a girl who was an observer who bad mouthed me by saying I should apologise and that I am entitled. Very bad customer service.
