Shahin and Kunal Joshi have been a team in the beauty industry for 11 years, working in the busiest shopping centre in Perth. Originally operating under a franchise system, Shahin and Kunal both felt that they could offer more to their clients and the industry by operating under their own brand. And so Bang on Brows was born.


What makes them such a great team? Both are dedicated to providing their customers with the ultimate salon experience. Shahin manages the salon and training, with Kunal bringing his management, sales and marketing skills to the mix. Together they lead an engaged, loyal and dedicated team of staff who deliver quality and consistency to every Bang on Brows client.


Over the past 11 years Shahin has shaped and enhanced more than 80,000 brows. She has also trained more than 70 staff in brow shaping and other brow and lash services.


Shahin and Kunal pride themselves in providing high-end services which are reasonably priced. The Bang on Brows team is highly experienced and well educated in both product and service knowledge. Although you provide a good service, I think it is a bit expensive charging $22 for 5 minutes of work. That is alot of money per hour.

This was possible because we have put in extra time as compared to other brands in the industry to ensure that our customer service is efficient and top notch. Also, majority of our staff are either qualified beauty technicians or are on their way to finish their certificate. This would mean that their wages would be higher as compared to unqualified beauticians. Our customer service and their qualifications would result in a higher price point and lower the prices for client would mean that we are either underpaying our staff or not giving the best service we should be giving. Good service! Lady was super lovely and took a lot of care. The threading and shaping of the tint is PERFECT. The tinting however looks a little muddy (I find this happens when it is left on too long). Also would’ve loved it to be darker like my roots, I did show the lady this.

The service provide by bang on brows is great. I go here to get my eyebrows done and never leave disappointed. The ladies are lovely and very efficient. Unfortunately though I have booked multiple times (both online and via phone) and when I arrive to my appointment they can either not find me in the system or they can’t do at the scheduled time. I would easily say half the time I have had to rescheduled to a later time or have been requested to come back in 20-30min. I can understand this occuring 1-2times, however I now often attend my appointment and except to be told they cant do at this time or can’t find me on the system. The ladies are super accommodating when this occurs, however on occasions have had to show evidence of me making a phone call or my confirmation booking. I do find I’m always the one left moving my other appointments around to accommodate to the teams schedule. Although I had a scheduled appointment. Although the service is great, the lack of accountability of providing the appointment booked has caused me to look at other brow services. This is super unfortunate though as the team do amazing brows.
