Shahin and Kunal Joshi have been a team in the beauty industry for 11 years, working in the busiest shopping centre in Perth. Originally operating under a franchise system, Shahin and Kunal both felt that they could offer more to their clients and the industry by operating under their own brand. And so Bang on Brows was born.


What makes them such a great team? Both are dedicated to providing their customers with the ultimate salon experience. Shahin manages the salon and training, with Kunal bringing his management, sales and marketing skills to the mix. Together they lead an engaged, loyal and dedicated team of staff who deliver quality and consistency to every Bang on Brows client.


Over the past 11 years Shahin has shaped and enhanced more than 80,000 brows. She has also trained more than 70 staff in brow shaping and other brow and lash services.

had brows waxed. Shape was very good but the wax was a bit hot and made my skill peel and burn a little bit

Sal was great - service and result. She was running and late serving multiple customers while also knocking customers back because she over booked. Sal needs help with more staff so she can deliver excellent service to individuals. This is the only reason I would not go back.

Asal is truly passionate about what she does and always tries her best to give each client a great experience, even on those unexpectedly busy days. We also really appreciate your honest feedback about the atmosphere during your visit. Please rest assured that staffing is something we take very seriously. We don’t overlook it — in fact, we carefully schedule our team based on online bookings, and we always try to allow for walk-ins as best we can. Sundays, in particular, can be a bit unpredictable. Some Sundays are steady and manageable, while others — like the one you came in on — can suddenly become much busier than anticipated. Since staffing on Sundays comes with significantly higher costs, we need to make sure we’re balancing things wisely. Bringing in additional team members when the demand is there is something we’re always open to — but we also have to be mindful not to overstaff when bookings don’t justify it. That’s why we strongly encourage online bookings — not just for convenience, but because they really help us plan ahead and make sure we have enough staff to deliver the kind of service our clients expect and deserve. We absolutely hear you, though, and we’re continuing to monitor patterns and adjust where needed. We hope you’ll consider giving us another visit in the future. The service provide by bang on brows is great. I go here to get my eyebrows done and never leave disappointed. The ladies are lovely and very efficient. Unfortunately though I have booked multiple times (both online and via phone) and when I arrive to my appointment they can either not find me in the system or they can’t do at the scheduled time. I would easily say half the time I have had to rescheduled to a later time or have been requested to come back in 20-30min. I can understand this occuring 1-2times, however I now often attend my appointment and except to be told they cant do at this time or can’t find me on the system. The ladies are super accommodating when this occurs, however on occasions have had to show evidence of me making a phone call or my confirmation booking. I do find I’m always the one left moving my other appointments around to accommodate to the teams schedule. Although I had a scheduled appointment. Although the service is great, the lack of accountability of providing the appointment booked has caused me to look at other brow services. This is super unfortunate though as the team do amazing brows.
