I was getting married on Saturday, so I attended Beauty on Rose the morning prior to have shellac applied to my finger nails and toe nails. I had complete faith that I would be well looked after. Upon arrival I selected the perfect colour! My beautician returned after 10 minutes to inform me that the salon only had it in polish, not shellac. I opted for the polish. Halfway through my appointment, my beautician told me that I couldn't wash my hair and needed to be extremely careful for the rest of the day. I knew then and there that I had made an epic mistake. My beautician was lovely and took extreme care in applying the polish. She did a perfect job! However, my appointment went for 2 hours and 45 minutes and I was only offered a champagne five minutes before I left. Unfortunately, I bumped my right hand twice trying to get out of the chair so two of my nails were smudged before I'd even left the salon. I was in quite a state by the time I got home. I ended up making an appointment at a different nail salon and had the polish removed and shellac applied. I really didn't have four hours to dedicate to my nails and as a result, caused me a great deal of stress. For this reason I won't be returning to Beauty on Rose.
