The massages are usually wonderful, although this one was not the best. The therapist got to my head too early after not giving my arms very much attention. She stayed on the one spot on my head for what felt like a very long time, even to the point that I had to ask her to do something else as it was getting quite frustrating and unpleasant.

I booked for a Heel-lelujah package (60min) and my partner booked the feet retreat (70min) package. While the salon and the staff were polite and the salon immaculate, the service was disappointing. My partners therapist clipped his cuticles too close three times making him bleed (see pic) and the nail polish application was not what I would expect for the price. Additionally, despite his treatment being 10min longer, both our treatments finished at the 50min mark. Not worth the price to be short changed, cut and with disappointing nail polish application. Would not recommend - go elsewhere and get your moneys worth!

I went in for a brow sculpt and asked the beautician for just a tidy up and nothing too drastic. I am lucky to have left with any eyebrows at all, to say I look like an early 2000s socialite is an understatement! I was absolutely mortified and couldn’t even bring myself to speak. I am getting married in two days time and cannot care my reflection. I am absolutely humiliated.

The atmosphere was great and the employees very kind and respectful. However I didn’t get into my waxing appointment till 10 to 15 minutes after the time I had booked in for which was quite frustrating considering I had somewhere to be after my appointment and this delayed my plans. I know this Establishment (beauty on rose) prides itself on its punctuality so it was very surprising to have experienced such a substantial delay. What further confuse me was that several of the employees were just standing at the reception desk talking to one another while I was left waiting 15 minutes to get into my appointment.

I am a regular customer on beauty on rose. Although it it a bit expensive, the experience has generally been good until my last visit. Rebecca, who attended me lacked basic communication skills. Her service was ok but since she couldn’t communicate with me what she was going to do properly before the treatment, I felt like I had to ask the basics she should have explained before the treatment. The worst one was after the treatment before we ( my daughter and I) left she started talking to my daughter about me and my treatment referring to me as the third person while I was next to her. This is against the basic communication skills. You don’t refer to someone as the third person as if ther are not there in their presence. She only started talking to me after my I said hello I am here. I found this very disrespectful and I was very upset. I was thinking of calling their manager but I got a message for feedback which I am doing now.

I was asked to come in 20 minutes early and I still ended up waiting 10 minutes. Before I've been asked if I wanted a drink and the girls have a chat. Now it feels impersonal. The eyebrow tidy was changed to an eyebrow sculpt but that request wasn't put through the chain of communication so I ended up having an eyebrow tidy where my eyebrows ended up uneven and one much shorter than the other (which luckily others don't notice but I notice). I dont think it was entirely the beautician's fault. I think the room is too small to be able to do an accurate job. However I do think she rushed a little; she tried to pull the wax off while it was still wet on my bikini line. Every time I've had my underarms waxed, the beautician pulled out the stragglers with tweezers. Because she didn't do that, I spent 20 minutes in my bathroom doing it myself. At the time I was content because she was very good at chatting and made me feel comfortable but at the end of the day I wasn't happy with the job. Also there are heaps of stragglers on my bikini line. I dont appreciate the lack of attention to detail. But the lash tint went well and happy with my lashes. What you guys are good at is making people feel relaxed during massages and other relaxing treatments. I've been going to you for 2 years for that. I just want to make it clear that I liked my beautician but she might need more training and beauty on rose seems impersonal now. I booked quite a while in advance and I chatted to 3 separate people with regard to my booking and when I showed up the girl behind the counter told me that "insert name here" will be with me in just a minute, and I ended up having another beautician so just shows a bit of a lack of professionalism. Like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. I was planning on getting everything done with you guys for my wedding but I've had to reasses that decision.
