Despite recurrently asking for more pressure in the massage I did not receive the service requested.

The ritual experience was meant to be 90 minutes. It started at least 20 minutes late and finished early. I did not get a scalp massage and very little shoulders, arm hand and foot massage. The massage was very slow with lots of no hands on time maybe preparing oils but it seemed to take a long time. As the name specialty I expected more.

Incredibly unhappy with the service provided. At the end of the appointment as I asked for some stray hairs to be removed from my eyebrows I was told “generally clients don’t have this much hair for this appointment type” what an awful comment to be made especially considering I have been coming to beauty on rose for my eyebrows for years under the same appointment booking however with a different employee (Yam who is incredible and is deeply missed while on holidays!). I will never recommend Hannah to anyone. I walked out feeling awful about myself.

Usually really good experience at Beauty on Rose but found today’s therapist really unapproachable and difficult to discuss my concerns with prior to treatment.

I came in for a pregnancy massage and had to finish early because I got so hot, dizzy and thought I was going to faint. The massage therapist was lovely and kept checking that I was pk. She kept modifying things to try and keep me comfortable but you really need an air conditioned room for pregnant women in summer. There was no air flow, air con/fan and being covered in towels with an electric blanket on made me overheat and feel unwell very quickly. This could be easily avoided by having a split system and different set up for pregnancy massages in the salon to avoid this when we already run hot when pregnant.

I have been a customer at Beauty on Rose for a number of years and today’s appointment was underwhelming at best. I had the Deluxe Rose Pedicure which should have gone for an hour, however was over in 45mins. An example of this - part of the treatment is paraffin on the feet, this was not like last time and all pooled under my feet (was not spread all over). Last time I also had towels to cover my feet whilst having the paraffin treatment, but this didnt happen. It was only left on for 5mins as well which wasn’t long at all. During my treatment I heard other customers being offered tea/coffee/water which was not offered to me (I had my own water so would have declined, however would have been nice). After 45 mins I was left and the waited a bit for my nails to dry and then just left. When at the counter to pay was asked how my treatment was and I said ‘it was ok’ to which nothing more was said. For a treatment that costs $145, I expected more. I was going to get a pregnancy massage for my daughter in law whilst at the venue today but after the less than mediocre experience I wasn’t going to waste my money and will go elsewhere. Very disappointed indeed (as this is the 2nd time I have felt less than expected based on previous experiences)
