Hi BOR, I made an appointment for a telephone consult for the Simply Sculpt service offered for 5pm on Tuesday 20 Feb. I received a text from Mina at 4.50pm on the day regarding rescheduling the the following afternoon. Unfortunately I had work the following day, but provided alternative times for later that day or before work the following day and received no response. I sent a follow up text at 3pm on Friday 23rd during my break, and have yet to receive a response. I have always loved your company and I am interested in the service, however am not feeling positive about the experience. I'm not sure if there's anyone else who can contact me about it, and if not that's ok, but I'm hoping to organise it sooner rather than later given it can take up to 12 weeks to see results, and am hoping to line it up with a function. Thank you in advance for your help.

Was disappointed with the quality of the service I received. My appointment was at 11:20 for a 40min facial. I walked in maybe 2mins late as it was hard to find a park, I was asked to sit and then was required to fill out a form. After a few mins I was taken through and explained my treatment and was to get myself ready in the room. I anticipate that the actual tratment didn’t begin until close to 11:30. I was surprised when the treatment concluded as it felt as though time had passed very quickly, when I began to get change and looked the the time it was 11:54am. That would mean that my service was only approx 20-25mins which is extremely disappointing to have booked in for a 40min treatment and didn’t get a service close to that full time. Definitely not value for money.

I haven’t visited in salon for a while and the place has changed a bit. Yes, I was offered a drink, I asked for a tea and a water. When taken to the polish wall (which was very messy and the polish appeared old or cheap branded polish) the water jug was pointed out, which I could help myself to. I thought that strange as I was be in a recliner having a feet treatment and helping myself to water would prove difficult. The recliners remain super comfy. The foot bath wouldn’t have lasted more than 2 mins, so when the therapist started on my cuticles they were not soft and ready and it was very painful. I pulled my feet back a few times and said it hurt, she didn’t change her approach so I suffered through thinking it would only be a minute. Then straight into the roughest, most aggressive filing of the soles of my feet. I’ll admit they were rough skinned heels, but this process had my body shifting in the recliner from the force of the filer. Is it a new style of filing? It felt like a cheese grater. Then we quickly moved to the buffer, my heels remain a little rough and could have done with more of a course file than a cheese grater. Then my therapist vanished with no warning and popped back with the bags of wax. This was the best part of the treatment. Not sure it was $99 worth, but it was the best part. There was almost no communication throughout the process, I wasn’t even asked how short to cut my nails, I do like them short which is lucky because they are very short. Straight from the relaxing wax I had tissue roughly shoved between my toes and the polish was applied. No base coat. I had selected a pale glossy pink. It needs a base coat. Also I am paying $99, I expect a base coat. The therapist applied 3 coats and it is still streaky and patchy. I questioned why it looked like that and my toenails were blamed. I am 44 years old and my toenails have managed to be painted very well thousands of times. She did offer to add a fourth coat, after adding the topcoat. I thought this was ridiculous, I laughed and said not to worry. No massage or relaxation occurred. There was communication about what the process would involve or anything. At the end I was told to wait 10 mins and remove the tissue myself and she left the room without saying goodbye or asking if I enjoyed my treatment. I am honestly very disappointed and have waited until the next day to reply because I wanted to sleep on it before responding. I will remove and repaint my toes this weekend. I can’t be sure that I will return.

I was very disappointed about my service experience; unfriendly service at the counter and I had to wait for the massage masseuse for at least 20 minutes.

Although the lady who performed the service was polite and friendly, I don’t feel the money I spent on the facial $179 was value for money. It was a basic facial and I I wasn’t given the full 50 minutes of treatment. Approx 10 minutes was spent discussing the treatment with 40 or so minutes of actual treatment. There was no discussion regarding the extractions performed or aftercare and I had to ask if they were successfully removed. Only then was I told that some could not be removed.and that a cream sold at the salon might help. Had I not asked, I feel there would have been no feedback given about the success of the extractions.
