I got my eyebrows done there for the first time a few weeks ago and loved them. I went today and walked out very upset as to how my eyebrows turned out. It was clear I was not happy with them despite the girls telling me they looked great. I am the client and I did not like the result at all. To top it off I was given a 10% discount so still paid $62 for eyebrows which look horrible. I should not have paid at all. So disappointed.

I booked in for an eyebrow, upper lip, nostril and half arm wax prior to a wedding this weekend as I am part of a bridal party. The appointment was disjointed as I had two beauticians waxing me. The first beautician started my eyebrows and my upper lip which was ok but not great. She didn’t shape my eyebrows as requested. The second beautician was young and inexperienced. She did my nostril and arm wax and finished off my eyebrows. The arm wax was the most painful waxing experience I have ever had. She was pulling the wax strip paper the wrong way and has caused bruises on my arms. I have attached photos for your reference. She was pulling the strips across my arms rather than up and down. She did not place a towel over my legs and I left the room with strip wax on my leggings. Her technique was atrocious and she dismissed me when I told her that she was hurting me. I have never had an issue with beauty on rose and my mum and sister also have had waxing and other services done at the salon. The receptionist was apologetic and offered me a discount. I did not ask for a discount, I purely told the receptionist so the next customer didn’t have the same awful experience as me. I will return as a customer but I hope that I am not assigned to that beautician again.

Hello, I come to beauty on rose often and today came for the red light stim massage light me up package. The girl who gave me the massage was lovely, however it was terrible. It was supposed to be a relaxation destress and it was more remedial it was uncomfortable and it hurt. I really didn’t enjoy it and didn’t really want to pay, I’m not sure if she was new to massage but it really wasn’t good. I had a relaxation destress massage a few weeks ago and it was amazing I felt like a new person. Unfortunately today I was really disappointed. I don’t usually complain but I thought I should considering it’s a $200 package.

Definitely not worth $145 by a country mile. The massage was the part I was so looking forward to and it was very underwhelming and only lasted a few minutes. I’ve been there for massages before and will do so agsin but will never book a pedi again. I have had so much better for less $$$. Not what I expected based on the excellent massage experience I have had previously. Very disappointing. Treatment began at 9.15 and ended at 9.50. Feel very short changed! The young lady was lovely but needs more training overall.
